Hold your horses. NDVO is working on applications from Aug/Sept 2014 and it usually takes 8-9 months average from the time a file reaches NDVO.
Since your file just reached yesterday add 8-9 months from today until you either hear back or get the full visa.

Yes you can apply for visit visa and it doesnt have any bearing on the PR

Your waiting starts now....wait 6 or 7 months to hear from NDVO.

You can apply for TRV and it will not affect your immigrant visa.

Emailed my MP and finally got my AOR2.

I pray that New Delhi is picking up their pace!

I know that New Delhi is processing application from Aug-Sept, would that be the date AOR1 or AOR2?

Once your file transfer to NDVO it will take 16 months total processing time, if your application stright forward then it will take 8 to 9 months as per the forums if they ask any additional documents add 4 to 5 months to it. But with in 24 months you will come to know results of your application.

But if there is not any extension in time period for the year 2015 then application takes total time 7-8 months from the date cic receive it ... I have seen 4-5 spouse applications of my relatives in 2014 that are totally completed in 7-8 mnths

It doesn't matter if they share or not. What harm is it to you in mentioning it in your application and being honest. It is not going to negatively affect your application.

Being honest makes your application and life simple (as long as you didn't break any CIC immigration rules.

Does anyone know the average wait time if file was accepted in New Delhi April 2015? Do you think Indian husband will be in Canada December 2015? I am Canadian citizen.

From the excel file of 2014 applicants, New Delhi is working on Aug /Sept. 2014 (app. Filed) files. So add 7-8 months from the time ur file reached NDVO?

Hello Friends

I am a canadian PR and getting married in nov 2015 in India. the girl is from india and she doesn't work. It takes from one year to one and a half to get spouce visa. I have seen that they don't give visitor visa after applying for spouce PR.

What do u guys suggest should I apply for visitor visa before getting married or I should go through the normal process and then wait for one year??
