Sorry for the late post. My spouse got her visa back three weeks after submitting her passport to the Ottawa visa office. Two weeks later on March 19th we had her landing procedure completed.
Landing process was fairly smooth (except office was crowded with many similar cases). Just want to share my experience:
Early morning we crossed the Canadian border towards to US side. We used Niagara rainbow bridge. My spouse has US visa so went to the US side and came back around 12.30 pm to the Canadian side. I handed over all the documents to the officer had check post. He inquired about the purpose of coming here- I couldn't understand what he meant. I guess he wanted to hear 'we are here for landing for my wife'. anyhow, he sent us inside the office with a yellow slip. Slip mentioned the number of passports and some codes (which I couldn't decipher).
In the office, there were long line up of people waiting ahead of us. We were told that it will be a long day. We kept waiting for about four hours before our number came. Officer called me and my wife. she asked couple of questions to my wife-
1. Write down the address you are going to.
2. If there has been any previous involvement in crime
After they were answered, officer asked us to wait for 5 min before she came back with final papers. Got my spouse's initials and signature done and we were all set.
We had form b4 with us. we realized officer will not ask for it on its own unless you tell them about it. This officer sent us to a second officer who deals with evaluation of the valuables we are bringing in and plan to bring in future. For us, it went smooth. We didn't have any photographs of the stuff that is coming in future so officer was reluctant to provide us the evaluation sheet. After we showed her pictures of jewelry on phone she issued us the evaluation paper.
All in all, it went smooth. It took us a year and few days for end to end procedure. Thanks to everyone on this forum and wish you all speedy visas.
