Hello Everyone

I need one suggestion. My sister-in-law wrote an email back to re-medical assessment and explained her the situation. Then medical officer called my sister-in-law and told her that she must have chest X-rays before she get the visa. That is the only thing holding her Visa. Would it be helpful to contact MP and get a letter if they can waive the medical requirement?

Please suggest.

It's highly unlikely that the MP will be able to help you in this matter as they're not really allowed to interfere or influence. However I just Googled your sister in law's situation and it seems that pregnant women can undergo chest X ray after wearing a special type of apron and its pretty safe for the foetus. You should ask her to talk to the panel physician and the doctor can issue special instructions to the radiology staff. I'm sure they have provisions for pregnant women.

Thanks Kamal. And agree with Priya.K. As when i went to pp for remed, the first thing she asked was whether i am pregnant or not, so i am sure they have special measures for pregnant women. In my she should not delay and consult a doctor / PP for the same.......

NDVO just sends email no change after that, u will get it tomorrow or day after.....
Dont worry, pls keep the forum informed......
when do u plan to leave, it usually takes 4 days to get passport back after submission........
i hope u r all packed to fly......

No CIC/NDVO doesnt confirm anything, ur panel physician can only confirm....

yes preett Don't worry I will update each communication from embassy....but I did not get ppr yet.....and yes I already finished shopping in January only waiting for my visa.....I will informe you. God bless you hopefully you will hear soon. How long ndvo take for ppr request?
