I finally got my pp stamped with visa on 22nd Jan!!!
This forum was really helpful to me to get updates of ndvo working !

Yess its true that 2015 applicant got interview email...interview is schedual on 21st march 2016 and he is 15th march 2015 applicant.....we all wish him luck n speedy speedy visa.....

Congrats ,who got dm nd ppr.when will turn the may applicants.my wife medical expire on march.any body tells me ndvo they will give ppr,dm or re medical reqest.I am frustrated now.how many times are left when my wife will come in cAnada.

Harkrs123 is my wife and we both belive our case has been tossed into the "get to it later" pile, as we applied on Jan 19th, but are both previously married, so assume they will call for interveiw. We applied for notes about a week ago..

My lawyer is telling me it is safe to plan on her getting to Canada
August or September
Is this actually a possibility or wishful thinking.
I am just so overwhelmed with all the different info out there

Hi, like many others , I have also been one of the silent follower of this forum.
And read all the posts before sleeping to get updates of NDVO working and for sure it gives hope and strengthen it.
I am 4th May applicant 2015 and expecting to hear from ndvo in coming months (observing the present trend).
Does any one think that if one is married for gud 4-5 years and sponsorship is taking place after that, does it raise red flag? Or is usual? Or has any positive impact on case?

Depends on why the sponsorship application was filed so late. I hope the couple has has atleast 1 child in 4-5 years of marriage otherwise it can look really shady.
On the other hand, such a long period would give you an excellent opportunity of providing tons of photographs and other relationship proofs. At the end of the day it's all about how much evidence you can provide to support the genuineness of your relationship.

It doesn't seem probable for now because the current cases are taking about a year's time to get visas. They might speed up the process in the coming months. You'll have to wait and watch. You can apply for your wife's visitor visa though.
