I wish there were more DMs and PPRs this week but I guess not Hope we all hear something positive next week Monday!! This wait is too frustrating now. But if your file is stuck in background checks like mine, usually that can take time depending on travel history, no. of countries lived in etc...so we all just have to wait!

Will it effect our US visa in future..bcz I have heard that they(US embassy) give u refusal letter if we do landing on US borders or at Rainbow bridge

Don't worry dear. People also have got there ppr's after 2-3 days of interview. Just be strong & go visit the forum where interview questions are shared by people. Prep you n your husband together. If your marriage is genuine then you simply don't need to worry. Give them smoke supports to prove your point .

Thank you for your reply, but review in progress for eligibility has been there since i linked the file to the account on July 25.
I thought it showed to be in process for everyone who has linked the file? is anybody's any different?

Ya mine is also the same . I think our files are being worked on and very soon we'll hear for ppr's .
Just keep believing & hold on to faith .
The next step after the medical been passed comes to interview then eligibility then background & criminality. We are lined up our turn will come soon .

Just want to share :

1) Who so ever are done with their re-medicals 2-3 months back, contact your MPs asap.

2) in my case till last Thursday i.e 11th of Aug, Background check was not started, on 12th Aug, status changed to in Process and in less than a week my wife got PPR and passport back from NDVO.

3) Even if you touched 12 month mark.. apply notes asap and then contact your MP.

What do you mean by Landing ??? you meant by air?? there is no international airport at borders . If you meant by landing in US without US visa then you can't at all.

You can do flag pooling that has no impact on your future US visa application plan.

My US visa was refused in Toronto and I applied again after 6 months and it was done that time

Our 19 months will be completed on September 25th. And yes I did MP inquiry and this is what I was told: They are conducting background and security checks still. And that you should wait until 19 months are over.
Yes it is my first marriage. Our interview went really well and the VO told my husband on the spot "Welcome to Canada" and I am going to be approving your case. But now we are 4 weeks after the interview and there is still no news of PPR or any other documents that they require (as she had said she would check and send us a new PCC request if it was expired, which it was but we never got a PCC request either). Now we have just sent a new PCC via email to NDVO so that maybe that will force them to look at the file if they haven't already looked at it yet. I don't know what is the hold up. The MPs are getting less and less friendlier to help as they are getting more and more requests from people to do a follow up on their applications, I think.

Did you linked your application under your account? what status it has over there? Don't send any other documents to NDVO/CIC until they demand. Sometimes it confuses them too.

If your MP is not supportive, just try to find the other nearest MP. Try another set of notes.

Hi, its not true. It all depends on interviewee and his/her confidence level and being genuine.

What you notes say about Interview? mostly there is no interview after re-medicals. My wife's re medicals were done on 19th March and we got PPR on 16th Aug... almost 5 months later.

Refusal letter does not effect you future US visa.
My husband has done same thing and he got 10 years visitor visa

I cant link my application as I have a consultant. All MPs (I contacted about 3 different ones) they all have given me the same response that you need to wait until 19 months to escalate anything. The file is in background checks..

Hi, my wife's beckground check was done in a week but we waited almost 5 months after her re-medicals and file was in registry.

What does location of file REGISTRY means ?
