One of my family friend friend got a letter from embassy explaining about temporarily work being shut down for two months. I don't have further solid information yet but this is what they told. so hope they pick up from August.

was that family friend in spouse (family class category as well) ?

Don't worry, This is much better system than the bulk email communications.

In your case,if you do get a Re-medical (hope you get soon) request, it will be a message in your CIC account. you will also get a notification in your email (registered with CIC account) that you have new message in CIC account

We were very surprised ourselves as to why we really had the interview. But do you know how long it would take to hear back from them? The fact that worries me is that she asked only 3 questions and she said she as satisfied but still never asked for the passport on the spot....and I dont even know if you can mail the passport INTO India from another country to get it stamped...so does that mean another trip from my husband to India for passport stamping??

Usually after interview if they are satisfied they let you know as in your case. So it takes around 2-3 weeks for ppr after interview as current trend of ndvo visa office. You can request for different country visa office where your husbandi s residing at that time that's not big deal... so it saves time for you ... hope you will get good news soon...

I'm May 6th applicant
It's showing in process since July 2015 however they asked me to submit the add docs and my medical was done on 1st Aug my wife is fedup of the Cic system and I hav had Enuff of this wait game... lets see if they reply this month or not for medical otherwise I'm done with this process anyone in the same shoes ?

8th MAY applicant here. was asked ADR (PCC) on may 26th and submitted it on 8th June.
Can understand your situation as we are all going through the same, hell lot of frustration coz its been almost 15 months now.
probably you should do MP enquiry as it will help in pushing CIC to open up your file if they have kept it on hold after they asked ADR !!
I did MP enquiry on July 7th and got informed that i will definitely hear from NDVO by August.

Got informed from a known person working in MP's office. well, it's just what was I told and not sure if it's true.

how come then the person I know got visa in july month and is here I believe he got his visa in mid july if they are ogg

I don't think so. Immigration would never let the applicants know about their work being shut or their method of working. They don't even reply to basic enquiries, why do you think they will tell your family friend. Please do not spread rumours. Thanks!!

Apply for TRV on the basis of Eid. Hopefully they may approve it. Coz 3 of my frds their visa got approved and i have applied last week for the trv. Its an easy process it cost you only $100. Even if your wife gets passport request she can submit it to ottawa.

I did not mean to disrespect you. But it seemed kinda odd for embassy sending such a letter. I know all of us here are trying to help each other. Good luck to all of us!! I wish for everyone for this to be true and get ppr as soon as possible! Peace!!! And no offence!

Go to the bottom link create your id on Gc key then you can link your permanent residence application and check status of all stuff more detailed.

Here's step by step I learned when i link my account:

1. Go to this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp
2. Select the blue button with "Continue to GCKEY"
3. It will direct you to this landing page: https://clegc-gckey.gc.ca/j/eng/l?ReqID=s242cec6e6186f71c550ceaca98ff8a142c1ae0fe8
4. Key in your username and password and click sign in button.
5. Click continue button.
6. At the terms and condition page, click I accept button.
7. At the identity validation, keyin your answer and click continue button.
8. It will show you the home page,on the area of "what do you want to do" go, further below until you reach this part: Link an existing application to this account.Then click the blue button which says "link application to this account".
9. When you reach this page that shows "Link an existing application to this account ", go further below down until you reach "What did the applicant apply for?".
10. Under the category select the dropdown menu bar as permanent residence.
11. Under the sub-category select the dropdown menu bar as family classes(Spouse). (which applicable for you)
12. For the application details, for the Please select one, dropdown menu select your Application number and Family Name or application number and uci number ( if you have received your SA and AOR2 etc you can use this)else use the other option.
13. Fill out the information for application number.
14. For the Applicant's personal information, Take note of the INSTRUCTION:
Applicant's personal information
Please enter city and country of birth, or passport information.
What I did I entered my passport information and skipped and leave the city and country of birth blank/null.
15. Other Application Information part, keyin province,city,current marital status: married,Number of family members, including the primary applicant, that are part of this application: I put 2 since I as the Spouse being sponsored and of course my spouse as the sponsor, so the count is 2. Smiley
16.Click search my account.
17. Once a match is found, it will say:
Thank you for entering information.
We compared it with our system and found : an application that matches info...
Note: by linking your application to this account, you will now receive all messages and xxxxx
Select the LINK MY APPLICATION BUTTON.
18. Then it will link application.
19. Then it will show you the account in your main page:
Under View my submitted applications or profiles, in the column action click status and messages.
20. It will direct you to this Application/profile details
