i got my sponsorship approval on 2nd March.

Did you get sponsorship approval via email to regular mail? My ecas status has changed to "Decision Made" for sponsorship approval. It doesnt say approved or rejected. They just put the note "We sent you a letter on April 10, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.". Does this mean that it could be a rejection? I haven't got the mail from CIC yet.

My husband recieved a regular mail from the visa office

Thats great buddy, received mine few days back.

Currently NDVO is Processing files received in July (as per 2014 forum) . If it goes in the same speed we have 6 more months left . I think to all who applied during December like me, we can expect some good news during end of September.
