Hi All, I stay in India and have applied PR on october 21st 2014. and got SA from CIC on Jan 8th 2015. Can anyone tell what are the different stages it goes through and how we get PR. It would be really helpful..

Hey I got my medical done Feb 24th they got it in a couple of days but it was also emedical....I heard if it's paper medical it takes 3-4 weeks I would check with the hospital if it was sent

not yet , last update was that file was sent to New delhi ....nothing after that..

Hi Everyone,

I just found out that there was a new IMM008ENU_2D form released in February 2015. As our application arrived at the Mississauga CIC on February 9th, will our application be delayed? If so, is there anything we can do to avoid any delay?

I have already submitted my application for my wife and I am thinking of changing jobs. I am planning to start my own company and contract myself out to a staffing agency and work for clients such as Transcanada. Will this have any impact?

I sent my file on January 22, got AOR on March, 24th. Almost 62 days it took. Waiting for SA now..

CIC is working on the applications received on Jan 19,2015. so you should be expecting AOR1 very shortly

I will tell you my example ..we sent our application on Dec 19 , they received on dec 22, 2014..
when they working on applications received on dec 11,2014....I received our AOR.
so currently they are working on Jan 19...so I will say within a week...
