Had an interview today.. file approved.. though they did not tell us the exact time frame within which we would get passport request.. all we were told is u will get a mail of passport request...
Phew! It was all good..
Booth no. 1.. the lady was from Quebec.. quite humble and friendly.. the questions were regarding our case, wherein they had some misinterpreted information about our marriage dates.. no other relationship question or anything.. even then it went on for 30 minutes for me and 10 mins with my sponsor(husband)

Can you please share the questions they asked you and your husband, this will be very useful for others. I have seen few folks disappearing from this forum after their interview earlier this month. All the best...

Actually they put my file in background check. These check are done by csis and cbsa who are not answerable to anyone, not even mp.
Most of the cases are finalised within 6-7 months.Hoping to get it done in couple of months. This wait is really painful and unbearable.
Broken immigration system and careless officials makes you suffer to a extent where you get certain health problems which stays with you for the whole life.

Did you travel, live in Canada more than 6 months on valid visa in the past? Did you overstay in canada? If not, then Why CBSA CSIS involved in your foreign travel check?

Few 2016 files processed in less than 3 months. But the actual processing time is 19 months on website. According to new updates cic will clear backlogs and process as fast they can. If your case is straight forward then it takes around 8-9 months.So wish u luck.

Guys, no PRs for us the 2014 applicants this week...i am tired of waiting...when are they going to finish with us we are not sooo many left? Our medical was received on May 20th...and waiting and waiting...when will be our happy day...now its 19 months since we applied?

This is Saba..I had interview today at 3 pm and it got cleared thanx to everyone on this forum to help me. They mailed me regarding Medical.
They asked questions regarding my husband divorce,kids, basic question like where my husband work n live, why i choose him n where the marriage celebration took place..what my dad do n where my sister are....then why my husband parents not present at wedding..i gave them honest answer...they asked why i married late n why u married a divorcee...does ur parents agree for this marriage. Some info regarding my husband family as well..The positive thing was that my husband came here for attending this interview with me as well as he visited 4 times in two years.
For me interview was 15 min n 10 min for my husband as we have prepared enough so every question was asked from preparation.

One more thing i want to add if anyone is booking interpreter dont book it from GSM because my interview timing was 3 and till 2:45 she didnt come and forgot to bring documents as well.

I am tired of waiting for news...we submitted everything on May 31st and still nothing... Wtf...2015 applicants getting PRs everyday...they left us like f...ing stupids to wait. Sorry but its too much for me, its been 19 months waiting and waiting.
