I am a sep 2014 applicant still waiting for interview call. Don't understand why it's taking so long for NDVO. Medicals are already expired. No remedicals requests. Don't understand their way of working.

Is there anybody here who has recently got PPR after interview ?It seems many are waiting long for PPR even after interview

i think NDVO waiting for valantines day :D :D :D :D :D :D

guys I have a question. i am sponsoring my husband but currently I am staying with him in India. our 17 months have passed. I was thinking about going to Delhi immigration office myself now. has any one ever done that? what was the outcome? the reason why I wana do that is I am 3 months pregnant and I am having really hard time here but I don't want to go back without my husband, because I am alone there. I am really stressed and would like some advice. please.

my timeline is:
applied in 22 July 2014
file transfer Sep 11 2014
med done June 2014 (expired)
file in process march 2015
interview required as per notes.

No sorry that won't work. NDVO doesn't entertain walk-ins at all.
You're a July 2014 applicant so your husband's interview should be just around the corner. I feel bad for your situation but you just have to wait.

Quite a few interview applicants who had very limited travel history got their passport stamped and returned it took like 1 month after the interview in average
Stay positive

Good Luck

Hi guys, Anyone got interview schedule July applicant ??

Not yet. I think there is a 22 july applicant also waiting. Hopefully we hear smthn next week

Guys remember to do a new medical and take the paper with you to the interview. Don't do the interview and then wait for Re-med letter (that will be just longer wait).

Also take a new PCC with you too. I have heard them ask for it in the interview or after the interview.

regards,

Good Morning Everyone,

Need some help in getting answer for following questions:

a) Does Visitor Visa Application affects or delays the Spousal PR process in any way?
b) Can re-medicals be done in Canada? Do we have any panel physicians available in Toronto?
c) I am planning to apply visitor visa for my wife and currently she is not working. What proof or what info i should give to Canadian govt to prove that she has strong ties to go back? She has her parents and siblings living in India but apart from these info, what more info should be given to prove her strong ties back home.
d)Once a person receives the PR visa, within how many months he/she should travel to Canada? 1 year or 6 months?

Any help on above questions will be highly appreciated.

Following are my timelines:

Application Submitted: 2nd June 2015 & received by CIC on 4th June
Sponsorship Approved by CIC on 30th July 2015
NDVO office started processing the file from 10th Aug 2015
Location: Mumbai, India

Bank Balance, Property named after her, but its going to be very difficult without a job my personal view, some people still managed to get a TRV without a job
d)Once a person receives the PR visa, within how many months he/she should travel to Canada? 1 year or 6 months?
before the visa expires ..
normally the visa is issued only till the duration your medicals are valid for

Hope that helped
Good Luck
