Congrats to all with dm and ppr. I did mp inquiry n was told file is in queue for background check. But it was sent for background checks in nov. they said there'll be updates by May. But that's like 19 months from application date!

Doesn't make sense why they have given 2015 applicants their visas but they are making you guys sit and wait! They don't have a proper and fair system. Still in queue for background checks, crazy! Did you apply for notes?

No travel history. Maximum travel is 3 weeks to Canada. No gov't organization ties.

The last set of notes Generated November 1 said eligibility passed, remedical requested, file sent for criminal check.

This is acc to wat i have understood. I m july 2014 applicant. At that time, the processing time was all together 19 months. My mp told me i m in que and should hear something by feb 2016 which brings me to 19 months processing time.

So that means applicants of 2014 are still under 19 months old processing time which is why they told u that u myt hear in may.(ur completion of 19 months).
Its unfair but what can we do.just pray and hope to get through this tough time

I talked to my MP office who said that my hubby has been approved for the visa, just have to wait 2-4 weeks after DM to get PPR! Can't wait for that PPR email

I m suspecting interview call for my husband soon . so ppl who did remeds without request, please guide how can i get that done. Where can i find the form for it and is it ok to do it upfront. As i have heard if its done upfront it might take less time to get ppr.

Without ndvo requesting u remeds u cant do remeds,it will be called as complete medical........in ur case u hv to do complete medical upfront like how u had done initially...and carrying the upfront medical receipt wen u go fr interview......bt do that once u get ur interview date.....surely doing so will reduce the time to get ppr email aftr interview...god bless u

Hello outlandish...
According to 2015 forum ppl hv gt ppr email within a day or two aftr dm....bt surely few r still waiting since weeks to get ppr aftr dm....so it is unpredictable n may take nywhr around 2 days to 6months in worst case as one of the 2014 applicant got ppr aftr 6months of dm....
As ur mp told u that u will get update in 2- 4weeks then keep ur fingers crossed n pray hard....surely u vil get ur ppr sooooonnn....hope that u get by this sunday or monday.....as ndvo is updating member on sunday n monday since last couple of weeks...so keep ur hope n high n be optimistic.......be strong,u r in the end of the process....

Just an updated.

We are still waiting after re-meds which was done on the 23rd of Sept and everything was approved on Oct 10th as per the notes.
MP did an inquiry and we haven't hear back.

I am shocked to hear all this, It scares me to an extent. So much patience ! Here we are getting frustrated as 2014 applicants are not getting immediate updates compared to 2015.

My wife did re-medical on 8th December and after that no update yet, anyone like me in line?

I received my remedicals on 29th dec and did on 4th jan (report submiited on 5th) and still waiting
