My wife has been with me in Canada for the last 10 months (she is on TRV). Is there a chance that NDVO may ask for RCMP clearance? Did any one else get it?

Then i filed notes that said in process from october 2015
My husband visited me thrice and in nov i sent remedical on my own
As well as for my child also
Got interview call for jan 2nd week
Just wondering why wud they take sp long
I m depressed
My son is 13month old n still met his father only for few days
This system is really not good for married woman like me who have to live without their husband that too bringing up a child alone
Pretty depressing

your relationship is genuine , there is nothing to find out ... just wastage of time ....don't worry , you and your son will be getting visa soon right after your interview ...get ready for Canada ....waiting time is about to over now for you !!!

Hi guys,
I have sponsored my husband in June 2015. I want to go and visit my husband for atleast 2-3 months. But i was told, that since I am PR, it could raise a red flag on my husband's file. Embassy will ask me if i plan to settle in Canada and how i'll support my husband. I am very well aware with this fact now. But my ques this time is.... how will NDVO know that i visited India and stayed with my husband for 2-3 months, if dont tell them at all.
And please tell me in what other way, my visit to India, can harm my husband's application. Please reply guys.
I really need ur advice and suggestions

there is no time limit on how long u can leave canada. as long as u still have a job thats all that matters i spent 45 days with my wife in india recently. this is not a problem

You can bring everything you own tax free. You just declare.
Next time onwards its taxable. Applicable only for PR.

do they have any set limit on it?

thanks.

I applied for my wife spousal application a year ago. We did medical at time of submission. Since medical were soon expiring, we did medical proactively and sent to NDVO 4 months back. I got CAPS notes which clearly specifies that they have received the medicals. My wife again received medical request by email. We contacted MP office who inturn contacted NDVO. They said that they dont have any record of medical being received. I then send CAPS notes to MP office which they forwarded to NDVO. If NDVO is so reckless in their response and provide all wrong information no wonder their current processing time is 17 months. If this is how they responds to MP how about the common man? Something needs to change the way NDVO functions.
If you agree with me sign the petition in the below signature.
Now they are saying no document outstanding from us.

We applied for notes on November 27th

Still no answer.. Is the 30 days not including the holidays I'm assuming?

Part that i need to declare it, how do i do that? Do you have to have form or something filled out in order to declare it?

or you can just carry it with you and show them to custom officer.

I am mainly concerned with jewellery that you have with you first time travelling to Canada for ladies. Jewellery is something you have to declare it and filled some kind of form?

thanks.

Hi guys,

For those went to pick up their visa, did you guys do any biometrics? What was the procedures when you went for to get yo visa office? Like what you came to the visa office. Because I have a relative there who is authorized to submit my wife's passport but the thing is that it's a holiday and they said you need to do biometrics. After doing a quick research biometrics is only for visitor, study, and work permits only. Please could someone confirm for me?

Hey congrats my timeline is also same as yours...I also applied on 4 Feb but my medical expire on 18 DEC....but I did not get remedical ....still waiting ..too much worrying now feeling so sick.

Hi,

Sorry for late reply. Thank you so much. :) I know the timeline for spousal sponsorship is brutal and something needs to be changed. However, there's nothing we can do at the moment. :( We all have to wait and pray. I know people do MP inquiries and what not, but at the end of the day, they do stuff their way and we are all waiting helplessly.

Have faith in God and I hope you receive some sort of correspondence from CIC in the first week of Jan, 2016. :) God bless you!!!

Congratulations!!! :) Have a blissful life with your life partner and daughter!! I do not know the exact answer to your question. However, I do believe in your child's case, you may have to renew her Permanent Resident card before December 2016.

Please filled this form and keep color copies of Jewelry with you. Once you land CBSA officer will stamped all pages and give one copy back to you.

http://www.cbsa.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/b4-eng.pdf

Keep two copies of set. One Copy they will take and other they will returned back to you.

You can also mentioned Good to Follow Which you order from India once you land here. Whatever you mentioned in this is form is duty free.

Let me know if you need more information.
