yeah i did inquiry on Tuesday and got DM on ecas today..
my remedical was done on September 24

I don't know if you read my latest update from yesterday, but I got our GCMS notes, and found out that our meds request was (supposedly) sent over a month ago (Sept 18)...which we obviously never received!

Darn good thing I checked into it...I had a feeling that something was wrong. No re-med request, even after getting a phone call from them, and stuck on IP for over 2 months.

Anyway, I sent NDVO an email, making it as urgent-looking as possible. We even called them, but the operator just said she didn't have access to check anything, and told me your best bet is to send the immigration dept an e-mail.

Waiting for my MP's office to return my messages too...hopefully they can get through to them quicker than I can.

Just so frustrating...you and I both might be celebrating right now if my wife had received that e-mail...

EDIT: Does anyone know what NDVO's response time is to emails? Does it really take 28 days?

They replied my query regarding PCC in 28 days
sometimes they reply quickly or take their own time which is never more than 28 days in general, a reply after a month normally never happens

Got passport request on oct 26, 2015. So submitted passport at Vfs. They said it will take 15 days to get it back.
Thanks evryone.

My wife sent her passport via VFS Kolkata and they said to expect it back within 4-5 days.

I hope someone good and efficient is elected as Immigration minister this time only then it will be helpful.

Chris Alexander was a worse minister ever who never used his brain other than following Jason Kenny all along and screwed immigration big time.

Hello - People who have received the Passport back with visa...what else do you receive with the passport? Anything such as CoPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) and what else?

Also, are there any forms, documents we can fill and complete before landing in Canada to avoid delays at the airport? I have found the following from some post (see link below):

4. Passport size photos. -qty 2-3 each, for PR Card. (it may not be needed, but good to carry)
5. PR Card Application (IMM 5444E). -this u can do it there, Or carry it before hand (filled) for ease.
6. Goods to follow List (Form B4E). -this u can do it there, Or carry it before hand (filled) for ease.
7. SIN Card Application (Form NAS 2120). -NOT NEEDED at the a/port. But needed late

wow congrats sunny hope u get ppr soon. Me too get remedical req 3 days back. But m suffering from fever cold so frnds pls guide me isn't there be any problem if I will done my remed few days later there is a time of 30 days mentioned in that email of remedical req. Pls guide me ur answers will be appreciated thnx.
