Can someone please help me.

I am a July 17, 2014 applicant and status is in process. I received notes yesterday and it says interview recommended and the due date for interview given was September 4, 2015.
I am confused because I did not receive any email or a letter from NDVO for interview?

Please please someone help me with what I should do now?

The due date in the notes dont mean anything at least from what we have seen they are usually over for all applicant. If you got your interview recommended the only thing you can do is wait, there are quite few applicants waiting from May/June. You can definitely contact them or do a MP inquiry to ask.

I'm in the same boat as you. except i'm a Sep 19,2014 applicant. In my notes it says interview recommended as well and due date showed oct 6 or something but we never got any email or letter. I was told by senior members here that I could be getting date in jan 2016 or something

Does anyone know who to contact to know the date? would an MP Enquiry help to get the date of interview?

Got passport request on oct 26, 2015. So submitted passport at Vfs. They said it will take 15 days to get it back.

I noticed that the 'Date modified' field in our E-cas page has just changed from 2015-08-17 (In-Process date) to 2015-10-02, but nothing else is updated. I still see the same 4 bullets. Does it mean something?

MP inquiry will not help to get a date for interview. You will only know the date when they send you the interview letter. The letter will come to you by email (if you got AOR2 through email) or by Post (if you got AOR2 through post).

It just means that they have updated their overall ecas system. It is same for all and has nothing to do with your ecas status.

I received call from canadian embassy for interview and its scheduled on DEC 1st now .

so is this karva chauth present ...hmmm dunno
