Congrats, guys!

Reading your posts, I went to check our status and email, hoping for a similar result. No such luck.

I wish they would hurry up with our case notes already...its almost been 30 days. Those notes will really help explain why we're stuck on IP for the past 2.5 months.

I wondered if maybe they've put us into the interview queue, but I hope not. But if they did, why would NDVO have called us 6 weeks ago asking if my wife was in Canada, and if she would be able to do her landing entry at the US border? The lady made it sound like our file was almost done. It doesn't make any sense to me!

Hi YYC787, How long is your wife in Canada - before or after "In Process" date? Is she on a TRV or some other status, and was she living in India before coming over? My wife is here with me on TRV as well but we have not received re-medical request yet - In Process date Aug-17.

She came before IP, she's here on a TRV.

Thanks a lot. I'm sorry for your wait. I see you haven't received remedical request, yet. It's easier to calculate the wait game after remedicals. But again, your wife is with you, so I guess that eases out the stress.

I just received our notes (finally!!) a few minutes ago. And its a damn good thing I requested them!

Medical: Passed - Expired
Eligibility: Passed (VO satisfied relationship is genuine)
Security: Not Started
Criminality: In Progress (RCMP clearance completed)

Here is the kicker.

THEY SENT US THE RE-MEDICAL REQUEST OVER A MONTH AGO!

On Sept 1st: "FCU-STR: 1) Please re-issue Meds 2) Please verify if applicant is still in Cda. If in Cda for more than 6 months, fingerprints will be required."
(They have not requested any fingerprints...how do I get those done? Can I talk to the police about that?)

On Sept 18: "RCMP Screening: NRT Medical Re-assessment request sent to DELHI(MC)"
(NRT = No reportable trace)

What does the "DELHI(MC)" part mean?

We have not received ANYTHING. (No wonder its taking so bloody long!)

Now what do we do?

YYC787, i wish i had some of the answers. i'm myself stuck in a hole. I feel that your and my timeline is very similar. I am Sep 19, 2014 and you're Sep 29. I ordered my notes too and the VO comments said Interview Required. But i haven't heard anything from them still, wonder how much i've to wait to get a date It's so so hard waiting. I'm sure most of us can all relate to this.

All the April 2014 applicant's got their interview letters in August 2015. So in your case add 3 months to application month and you should approximately get the interview letter in January 2016.

I've sent a case specific enquiry asking them to re-send the meds request, and to ask if we need to do her fingerprints.

Going to try calling the CIC Call Centre, and maybe my MP.

This is ridiculous...over a month ago, really, NDVO?!?! We might have gotten our PPR by now!

Actually, I have seen that in other people's notes too. Usually the notes say "Issue Re-med request" and they get re-med request after a month. But they only issue re-med request after all the other stages are passed such as security and criminality. If the other stages aren't cleared they won't send you re-med request.

I strongly suggest that you take a new medical and new PCC with you to the interview. This way you can expect to get PPR within one week after the interview (Magicman's wife had interview on Oct. 6, 2015 and she got PPR on Oct. 13, 2015).

If you know your doctor is not that busy wait till January to do a new medical or wait till you receive interview letter (it is not called re-med since NDVO has not requested it).
PCC = Police clearance certificate (order it after you get the interview letter)

And yes definitely you should take more proofs of your relation to the interview.

Its been more than a month, that's the thing. And most people are getting their re-med requests within a few days, or one month max, after IP. Ours has been IP for 2.5 months.

Also, it doesn't just say "Please re-issue meds", it says that the request was sent.
