Hello everyone.

Hi guys,

Congratulations to everyone with new updates- IP/remeds/DM/PPR!

can any of you help me clarify a few doubts pls!

-what does 'Registry / In-transit' in the PaperFile History of the GCMS indicate?
-all four categories have a "1" next to it.. i dont understand this as i had ordered my notes just a couple of days before my file went into InProcess but still everything shows as not started. infact i got a re-med request too a few weeks back and got them done.
-what is the validity period of a remedical test? i got mine done last week of September2015.
-also, just an obsertvation.. the bring forward / due date mentioned in my Eligibility category is 15Nov2015.. does this indicate anything?

thanks for all the assistance and wishing everyone speedy visa processing :)

Hi Vicky

How did you submit your remedical? Did you courier them the medical sheet or email?

For the re-medical , you choose physician from the list CIC provides therefore they can send your medical electronically. You can also send another copy from your end as well as.

Good luck.

So, you do not see any additional line like "We started processing your application on ............"?

Though GCMS notes are sent to you after a month, they are generated within a week after you apply for it. So it is quite possible that when you applied for it they may not have started looking into your file, and thus it shows "not started". Due dates are a big mystery, many people have seen those dates come and go with no progress, so its difficult to say if they actually re-open files on those days. No need to worry about remedical validity, you will get your visa before that. :)

Hey guys,
I have a doubt.
Can you tell me if applying for a work permit (through my company) affect the PR application?
Currently my PR status is in 'In Process'.

I don't think it will impact the PR application as such but it might be little hard to get the work permit if your PR application is in process. As you applied in December 2014 so if there is no interview you should receive remed or PPR as a next step.
