NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Hi,

I am a Quebec applicant from NDVO. Have got the CSQ this June and applied for federal to Sydney, NS. Got the AOR on Aug 8th and then on Aug 21st my ecas got updated as Inprogress. Then on Sep 1st got an email from NDVO, that they have started processing and they expect teh RPRF fee and the PCC if not submitted already asap.

I had submitted PCC along with application but RPRF was not paid. THerefore, i paid it online and then sent the receipt. Normally in all other VO's, RPRF comes with Medicals, but hope in NDVO, they collect the RPRF and then ask for medicals.

Is there anyone, who can help with understanding, how long it will take for me to receive the medicals request. After medicals i just have to wait for ppr...

It appears that you are a Quebec applicant applying under the federal skilled workers program. Is that right? if so, then this question should be posted in a relevant forum as this forum mainly deals with Family class sponsorship. In case someone replies then good else we may not be equipped to handle a query of this nature.

In family class sponsorship we have to submit medicals and RRPF at the time of filing the application for our spouse. It's only in economic class/federal class the process is different.

Received passport back with visa. Finally process has ended after 1 year and 1 day of time. Here is my timeline:

App. Filed: Sep 15th, 2014
AOR 1: Nov 4th, 2014
AOR 2: Nov 24th, 2014
In-Process: Jul 5th, 2015
Re-Medical Request: Jul 10th, 2015
Re-Medical Sent: Jul 23rd, 2015
Decision Made: Aug 22nd, 2015
PPR(Sent to Ottawa): Aug 31st, 2015

Received passport back today and thank you everyone in this forum for their support and wish everyone to get their visa's very fast

Guys please help me, my wife's sponsorship application timeline is almost the same as natrajs35 but its almost 2 months now after remedical and the application status still says "IN PROCESS". Could you please tell me if anyone of you have any idea that how long will NDVO take to change the status to DM OR PPR?
My wife's sponsorship application timeline is:

Sponsor Approval: November 13th, 2014
File transferred to India: December 1st, 2014
File went to "IN PROCESS" on July 7th, 2015
Received Remedical Request on July 13th 2015
Remedical done on 14th July 2015

It's already 2 months after remedical but still the status is "IN PROCESS". PLEASE HELP ME GUYS..........

You still have 5 more months to go as per the processing times. I would suggest you not to worry or think too much about this. We filed ours in April 2014 and in June 2015 it changed to IN PROCESS and so far we are out of luck. Same status every day so much so we have stopped seeing the CIC's site.

I would suggest you to order GCMS case notes. It costs 5$ and takes about a month's time for it to be sent. That case notes may shed some light but otherwise we are all sailing in the same boat i.e. broken Immigration system of Canada and forever to wait as we are at the mercy of NDVO. Good luck!

Thanks buggleboy. I know the total processing time is 17 months but people are getting their files processed way before 17 months just like the one I have mentioned in my question, so I am just hoping for the best otherwise the only thing we can do is to "WAIT".
