If you did the re medical on your own without a remed letter then you have to send it. if you already received a letter from VO and took that to the doctor, then you dont need to.
no actually I got a request for medical...they sent me one form too that I submitted in the hospital...

Hello guys,
I have a question for seniors members. When we initially filed the application. We didn't send my wife's(sponsored person) birth certificate but instead we sent her middle, matric and 12th certifications because on her birth certificate it has wrong name. Do you guys think is it a big deal? Could they ask for her birth certificate?
Thanks for your support!

Yes, Magicman received it too. His is scheduled for Oct 6th.

Yes, my wife got a interview letter as well, scheduled for Oct. 6th. Thanks Fiza.

Btw...My status on ECAS just changed to In Process and third line added saying "We have sent you a letter, please consider delays in mail delivery". I believe this "In Process" is different because they are now starting to do that for interview people, it happened to couple of other people too. We still have to go through the interview (unless they send a letter saying it is cancelled).

@ rambopg.....I was a bit busy so didn't post it on the forums right away. I was hoping to do that on the weekend.
Anyway.....I am stressing out way too much and I am hating this whole idea of interview. God please help!

There is no work permit or open work permit issued for outland applicants and only applies to inland.

So does that mean I cannot get a work permit done through my company here while my PR is in process? :(

Hey,

I think we spoke about this earlier in this thread or somewhere else.

"Do you work for a Canadian company in India or do you mean your current Indian company and apply for a work permit. Though not impossible its extremely hard to get a work permit for a foreign worker and even harder from outside of Canada. You and the company will have to apply for the LMIA which basically states there is no Canadian to do the job thus a foreigner is getting hired and there are costs involved for the company."

So yes you can apply and nothing stopping you but keep in mind this is not an open work permit and its tied to the company.

i think pace of ndvo is slightly improving ..thy touched till 31 dec 14 applicants ..

now thr focus is mainly on scheduling interviews as fiza n magicman got it ..

Lets hope to hear more good newss coming up

Hi,

Yes, this was the reply that one of you had given for my earlier work permit related question. I had replied but dint get any response back :) no problem though, maybe it got missed in the thread.

No I do not work for a canadian company. I was talking about my company here in India. If they are ready to get me a Canadian work permit through my project since they have clients in Canada. So I wanted to know if that would be a problem for my PR in any way.

Thanks for your reply, really helpful. +1 for the help.

Could someone please answer my question?

i also donot have date of birth certificate and i used my metric certificate for date of birth.

One more thing Indian born before January 26, 1989 who do not have birth certificateFor those applicants who were born before January 1, 1989, if they do not have a birth certificate, they can submit:
•A school certificate from a recognized school showing their date of birth etc. or
•In case where applicant did not go to school or went to school for less than 5th class, they can submit a notarized affidavit indicating their place and date of birth.

So donot worry be happy if applicant born before 1989..........

I don't think that submitting the birth certificate is mandatory.
We could wait for more replies maybe.
