Ohhhhh thank god at least we hear back from NDVO. They need us to do a Remedical now after Decision Made. My wife received e-mail yesterday evening regarding Medical reassessment request. Anybody have any idea or suggestion what will happen if I inform NDVO that my wife is pregnant and she actually risk the life of baby when she is exposed to X-ray.So at this point can we request NDVO to do other medical tests rather than X-ray. Would they accept my request ......? Everybody please give your suggestions.

I think when your wife will go to the medical center and she will mention about her pregnancy to the medical staff. The doctor will perform the required test only as they know well how to do in this situation. They will mention in their report while sending to the NDVO

File Applied: 25th Nov, 2014
Medical done: 10th Nov 2014
AOR: 19th Feb,2015
File Transfer to NDVO: 30th March, 2015

It's been 9 months still the status shows AR/MR.

I don't see any 3rd line added to my status yet. We have applied for notes as well and still waiting for the reply.
Any idea how muchmore ttime it ll take? And if my husband apply my TRV and if by any chance it gets rejected Will there be any stamp on my passport?

hey tintumon... I second pindu's opinion..
take appointment frm ur physician.. wen she will visit there.. the dealing persons there asked first about pregnancy specially during x-ray examination n they will make a report accordingly n will send that to NDVO.
NDVO will themselves then come to know abt it...

Thank you for that reply, quite an assurance.
Few Qs -
- What was the reason of travel that your spouse mentioned while applying for Tourist Visa?
- When you filed for your spouse's PR in India, you would've mentioned about her previously applied and granted Canadian Tourist Visa, right?
- Can you kindly describe the experience at the immigration at the airport in Canada. What all Qs was your spouse asked? Any documents asked? The PR has a separate Que at immigration while your spouse will be in the separate que, hence just wanting to know the scenario and experience.

Apologies for being so verbose and inquisitive, just want to be utmost sure of everything before taking the leap.

Yes, I mentioned about her visitor visa.

1. We both went together to the immigration officer.
Questions:
1. Purpose of your visit and when you will be travelling back.
Ans: Just say, that you are here to be with husband and your PR application is still in process.
Make sure to let the officer know that you have your travel insurance and return tickets.
2. They ask about what you were doing in India before marriage? /Working/student/

Thanks to my buddy in our NDVO whatsapp group who shared this link about this new "IN PROCESS" thing. I am sharing it here with all who want to know about the IP and what it possibly means.

No need to worry Swati Gadurian,

I am also a October Applicant. I haven't received anything from them. Don't worry you'll get something soon by the end of this month or next month, New Delhi should clean their backlogs.

Only people whose status had already changed to "In-Process" are receiving the 3rd line update with the date.

No one NEW has gotten In-Process today as per the forum posts (unless I missed it).

Also, I see many oct./nov. applicants still AR/MR (2014 spreadsheet and whatsapp group). So don't worry you guys will soon get in-process too.

Hi,

I am a January 2015 applicant. Can you please let me know about the what's app group? Also, when can January 2015 applicants expect to hear from NDVO?My status is still AR/MR.

Cheers.

Guys, few days ago I was super happy about gettin "In process" thinking that our wait is almost gettin over. But now, reading the thread about "In process" in ECAS, I don't know how to react. I want to be positive but I fear for the worst, the waiting game once again.
