Yes they asked pcc and we provided that January 19 . They received it on 20 January... Since then no udate..... Even if they ask for additional documents doesn't mean they gonna take forever.... My interview is waived .... 9 months actually too much if they asked additional documents

I'm gonna complete 12 months tomorrow let's see we should hear something from them in the month of September either re medicals or ppr

Yes. My wife did remed without request. Its upfront medical. It doesnt need request.
In Bangalore also they said same. I asked them to show such rules on CIC website.
Finally they did remed.
Thanks
That's good to know.

Physicians at Hospital were saying that they won't do remed without request from NDVO. I also didn't find anything written like that for remed.
I will let my wife know. Hopefully she will get remed done earlier so if NDVO needs it they can use it.

That is really shocking/surprising. I also followed the link from your signature. It says in process from July, 2015. :o
I don't know what we can say about NDVO from this.

Got re-medical request... this week.

oh okay. Actually when ur file went " in-process" ??
thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,

I am an Oct 17th Applicant.
I have just received the Re-medical request.

My application is being processed at NDVO and I am currently in Toronto.

Can I do my re-medical here?
Will it be a problem?
I read on another forum that I can even have my visa stamped if I send my passport to Ottawa at the time of PPR.
Has anyone done this?

Thanks!

hi...congrats for getting TRV and being in Toronto while ndvo works on ur file...
I think regarding medical u shud find a nearest authorised medical centre from cic website and visit or call them u shud hv info if they will send ur reports to ndvo or not

regarding ppr...I want to tell everybody having TRV and those u hv given their interview and re-medicals, they can travel 2 Canada on TRV and when they will receive ppr on email , it clearly specifically mentions if u r in Canada currently send ur passport 2 Ottawa and u will get visa and then u need 2 re-enter canada from us which is easy...

I hope this will help all who r waiting endlessly in IP...had I known this fact earlier myself I wud hv been in Canada much earlier rather than waiting for ppr in delhi...pls +1 if this helps u ;)

ARC and PR

Hi everyone :) I've been reading this thread since it started and decided to join! thank you for all the information and experiences posted.

At the end of August it will make one year since my son in law, daughter and grandson have been in India waiting for the PR and ARC application to process. Sponsorship was approved last October. Our online status is "medical received" for months and we also experienced the address changing from a Canadian one to their address in India. Medical is expired now.

We have just learned through our MP inquiries that my son in law requires an interview. We have received no notice of this whatsoever. Does any know or have any idea or can share some experience as to how many months it takes them to send a letter? crazy question I know! it's like asking for the winning lotto numbers!! also, if anyone can share their experiences as to whether they are also waiting for an ARC (Authorization to Return to Canada) to be approved with their application

I was encouraged to order the notes, which I just did and I am waiting for them. Someone posted a few days ago that ordering the notes isn't a good idea and draws attention to your file in a negative way. I don't believe that at all! you're entitled to the information by law so why would you be punished for asking for them?

My daughter and grandson are Canadian. My daughter made an extremely difficult decision to leave Canada to keep her family together. I am so proud of her and my son in law for being such wonderful parents and dealing with all the obstacles they have had to while living in India. I haven't seen them since they left last year late August and I miss them terribly. I MISS MY GRANDSON :( he was only 5 months old when he left.

This entire system is horrible!! it's torture to be away from the one's we love and it is so unreasonable to have to wait so long without any communication from the decision makers!!
We are all paying the price for all the people who have abused the system and ruined it for everyone else.

Please keep this thread going! good luck to us all and may God help us and give us strength and patience to get through it :)

Application rec'd in New Delhi: 31Oct15
