Hi,
Can someone please update my medical date on the spreadsheet. It should be July 24th 2014. Also, how often does NDVO extend the expiry of the medicals if everything else is ok?

Some people reported on the forum that even though they did their medical (for example) on 15 sept., the Notes say that the medical is valid up to 15 oct. (extended by 1 month).
So, sometimes they do extend it but I assume only by a month or so.

So here it goes...

In Process - 1st July 2015
Remed Request - 10th July 2015
Remeds Done - 13th July 2015
Decision Made - 14th Aug 2015
PPR - 17th Aug 2015

Thnx for all the support i gt from dis forum..all d best to everyone for their speedy visa!!!!!

When medicals are issued, expiry date is 13 months from Medical done date.
NDVO is not extending it.
Valid medical is mandatory to enter Canada. If medical are invalid there is no way NDVO will extend it. You will be asked to do remed.

Thank you for the info, Spiker. I thought medicals are valid only for a year. So, I guess, I have one more month for my medicals to expire. I hope I get PPR within this time frame. Thanks!

Are you sure about this spiker because some people stated that they got emails that medicals have been extended and I believe on the phone they told hgun they will extend his medicals by a month... also a lot of people have stated medicals are for 12 months, I've read this from many senior members.

I would think to just get the chest x ray if they specifically asked for it but I don't know if its smart or not to do a full re medical anyways maybe someone else can answer this question with more certainty.

Also congrats to every dm and ip and ppr. This has been the best month by far since I joined this forum... very happy.

Print the letter and when you bring it to the physician he/she will know which tests you need. If it only states to do x ray in the letter then thats all you have to do
