How can you say work visa?? I dnt think we can apply work visa, it's not for Outland spouses I think.

We can technically apply for a work permit so yes but we cannot apply for the pilot OPW being issue since that only applies to in-land application if thats what Tdotconsultants is saying then its incorrect.

Keep in mind getting a work permit is extremely hard (not impossible) since the company has to apply for LMIA and all the procedure involved.

Hi m also jan 2014 applicant n interview done in april 13 n remedical too n since den nothing from ndvo

Why don't they work on all 7days . >:( Anyways, they know that large number of applications are being received every month. >:(

My spousal application sent on: April 7 along with Upfront medical and Police certificates
Acknowledge from Mississauga: May 28
Acknowledge from NDVO : June 12(Asked to provide Police Clearance and Landing Fee if not already provided)

till July 28- ECS status still the same. Application received. Medical results received. No call for Passport. hoping to hear soon. the only change which I noticed is that since last week instead of my Canadian lawyer address, it is showing my home Indian address in the address box.

If their job was to screw you properly, they wouldn't give your spouse a Visa at all and ask you to immigrate back to india to be with your spouse. Don't worry I think I will be as frustrated as you come January.
They probably have an internal procedure where by if a mistake is found or more documents requested then they put your file in the '3 month delay' and work on the rest of the files so that they can get timely Visa.

I do the same thing at work. If I don't have some information to complete a task, I will work on other documents. Meanwhile, if I do receive that information, I still wouldn't just leave what I am doing and complete the previous task. I will finish the other documents and then return to complete the pending task.

Did you apply this year or last year? If this year, then wait till December to hear back from NDVO or ECAS to change to "In-Process".

Asking again...

Anybody here who submitted the FBI PCC to NDVO after the initial deadline (after getting an extension)? Just want to get an idea on how much time NDVO is taking in general to issue PPR.
My PCC was received by them on 19th June. Still waiting for PPR

Hi all,

I am new to this forum. I'm in a situation where I need help of the seniors or people with similar situation

I am PR(Quebec Selected skilled worker) staying in Quebec. I am sponsoring my Wife and Daughter for PR.

My wife and Daughter were staying with my wife's parents till last month. My in laws travelled to US last month and it is hard for my wife to take care of my daughter alone. Moreover my daughter started asking for me. when I will be back ......I am very much worried about my daughter's health....I tried for visitor visa for them and it got rejected thrice. Reason - Family ties are weak in India, no travel history

Now,I have decided to go back to take care my family.
Questions follow:

1) What will happen to the PR application, if I (Sponsor) go back to India?

2) Should I have to Inform NDVO of my Situation?

3) Is there anything that I can Do to keep PR application alive?

Time line of App:

Application Filed - Dec 2014

Sponsor Approved - March 2015

File Transferred to NDVO - April 2015

CSQ for my Wife and Daughter - May 2015

CIC dont have authority to say what applicant need to do with their life. NO... they cant ask applicant or sponsorer to emigrate to other country. They just cant and wont.
They are just suppose to accept application or reject application.
In the case of spousal sponsorship rejection is very rare (rejection is small compared to other category of visa or PR). If they have smallest of smallest doubt (red flag)about applicant they screw them by killing the time. Unfourntely in the process they also screw up genuine applicant.

Hey,

As a PR the sponsor should remain in Canada while the process for application is in progress and only a citizen is allowed to remain outside the country. Are you going for a visit or to live there until their application is processed?

It is accepted that a short visit of 2-4 weeks is considered fair and anything longer will only raise a flag since as mentioned a PR should be in the country. Informing NDVO will not have an impact on speeding up the process.

Do not give wrong information buddy if you do not have the knowledge , he can apply and his ban can also be removed by applying ARC.

You please dont give wrong information. This question was answered by a senior member scylla in another thread and its the same as what I said

"As answered in your other thread. No - you can't apply now. You cannot submit your application until the ban is 100% over. Please don't post the same question multiple times to the forum. Also, this question was answered for you several times when you asked last year. The answer remains the same."
