Hi Jugraj,

have you been asked any additional documents by CHC?

Hi friends,
PLEASE NEED AN URGENT ADVICE.

First off all many congratulations to everyone who got I P, DM, Visa.

I am July applicant, today I got a email from NDVO asked for a divorce petition but I don't have because it's ex parte filed the petition.

How should I write to NDVO about this? Thank you

Hi Bir, I need ur help. Could u please tell me what type of note should I apply for...electronic notes or file notes.
Thanks

Its better to opt electronic notes and email delivery mode.

My SA date is January 30, 2015 and as per SA mail the file was transferred to NDVO.

But never (till now) received Client UCI and AOR2 from NDVO and no reply for the emails sent to NDVO asking file arrival date and confirmation.

Was checking ECAS status using UCI (Client UCI to be received with AOR2) I was assigned by refused TRV application (same UCI will be continued for any class of visa) filed before Spousal sponsorship application.

Since there was no reply from NDVO about my file arrival, three days back sent emails to "case-review-im-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca" and "Nat-asia-pacific @ cic.gc.ca"

Got the reply from Case-Review-im-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca today that " Hello Mr. XXXXXXXXXXX, This is in response to your email dated July 4, 2015 regarding your permanent resident application. According to our records, the New Delhi office received your application on February 13, 2015.
You will be contacted should any additional information or documents be required."

Those who are waiting AOR2 and NDVO file arrival date confirmation can send emails to "case-review-im-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca" and get the reply.

Thanks to innosense for his post with those two email IDs. And +1 for him.

I think you have to approach an immigration lawyer

Hi,

First of all, don't believe everything that the call center rep tells you. They are often found to lack knowledge or give misleading info.
I was here in Canada for the entire process. I received PPR when I was here and had no issues getting the visa from Ottawa. The transfer of file happens internally. and overall it took less than 2 weeks to get passport back.

You can do flag poling at US border. And
No u will not lose the benefits of first entry. you have to declare your "accompanying goods" and "goods to follow" as 2 separate lists.

Thank you so much, that helps a lot!!

One other question though, for you or anyone else who knows the answer to this.

My wife's medical results expire later this month. Should I send NDVO a case-specific email saying her meds expire on July XX 2015, and please advise what you would like us to do?

Or should we just wait until they request the medical exam again? Or should we just go ahead and do it again anyways?

My concern with waiting for them to request it is, let's say towards the end of the month they send us an email saying please do your medicals again. We might go and get it done the next day, but then NDVO won't look at the file again for a month. If we do it without them asking, will that piss them off, or is it good because they would have the results directly in front of them?

Or is it worth sending them an email asking what they would like us to do? Then maybe they can tell us "yes, please go do it again right away" so that they have the results when they look at her file, or if we're lucky, they just process her visa, haha. (Are government offices capable of rational thought?)
