Also I was wondering if anyone has any theories to how they became so fast all of a sudden. Maybe its because in September school is starting and no schools are taking anymore applications. Also not too many courses start in January compared to September.... so a lot of extra officers may be free to move around...

I had a quick question about Visiting visa..
I called CIC Mississauga this morning just to clear my doubts on calling my husband here for visiting visa will it affect my PR file and they confirmed no it will not..but my other question was to them if in case while his here nd they request for PPR is there any option to send the passport here in Canada and he said no you have to send it to your visa office abroad..
Now i read in the forum that you can submit your passport to Ottawa and get landing papers by crossing the US border..

Please confirm on what is true?

I have seen some PPRs mentioned you can submit the Passport either to NDVO or Ottawa. These requests have clear instructions for sending passport to any of these places.
