Hi guys, I am from India and my wife is in Canada, I applied for family case and got my COPR yesterday. but as my case processing was done in LVO my COPR letter is asking me to submit my Passport to London VAC. as per India's rules I cant send my passport outside India by Courier service.

dear all

My wife is a Canadian citizen and has a job offer in USA and I am here in India. she can get TN visa easily. Our Canada spouse visa application is in process we just received AOR2 and its long way to go as our visa office in Delhi-India processing time is 16 months.

so our plan is to go to USA and be together my query is will it affect my Canada spouse visa any way. I do not want to apply canada TRV because i have heard the rejection rate is high.

need expert advice

Hi
It will be a while before 2015 files start getting processed, and even though your wife is a citizen of Canada and legally she can live/work outside Canada while your application is in process:
As per the rules, if that is the case she will have to show intent to go back to Canada once your app. is done.
So accepting a job in USA might not be so great in that aspect - but if you can give proof for intent to settle and be back in Canada, all is good.

Wouldn't say its expert advice, but just my two cents from what I've learnt from other threads in this forum.
