HI All,

I am a Oct'2014 applicant, we got SA in Dec'2014 and file transferred to NDVO in Jan, when I log in with my(Prinicipal Applicant) UCI, I see only one line i.e. "app received on 15 oct". I submitted my medicals along with my application but I could not see "medical received". Is this normal or anything wrong.

Please respond if any one faced same.

Thanks for the reply YR2486

Hello guys I wana share some information regarding my file so I had applied on april 20th 2014 alongside submitted my medical. After a few months they asked for some additional documents before approval from missuguga. It took 7 months to transfer my file to Delhi visa office. I got my second AOR on December 2 2014,they asked for my UK police clearance on 15 jan 2015 coz I went to London on a student visa. So I sent them my UK police clearence with some additional documents ie: whats app history ,phone bills, Facebook screenshots, greeting cards. After waiting 1 year n 2 months finnaly they asked for my re medical on 29th may 2015 done n dusted yesterday. My file is in process since 20th may 2015 on my wife's ecas as mine is not working from a few weeks, can anyone tell me how long it will take for my passport request from this point onwards. Hope this information will help to a case similar to mine thanks a lot!

hi everyone, thank god for this forum..
I am planning to apply for tourist visa for my husband in India but besides all the proof to provide i have some queries..

I am October 23, 2014 sponsor..
- Will applying for TRV affect my PR application?
- If it gets rejected will it have an impact on my PR application, once it does get rejected is it ok to re-apply for a TRV?
- If during his stay in Canada he gets ADR, medical reassessment or PPR can he do them in Canada?
- I herd from some posts here does applying for a tourist visa give a positive impact on the PR application it may not expedite the process but will show the immigration officer that we attempt to meet each other since we will provide visiting details to NDVO once he is here.. is this it true?
- for plane tickets is it ok if we don't provide bcz it doesn't make sense to book if we dont have visa yet or is it necessary to have?
- do we need medical for TRV? bcz my medical expires on June 15th..

Please help!!
While applying for the trv that won't affect the pr application but the immigration officer will surely come to know that you have applied for trv moreover they cross check with your pr application status before issuing the trv visa (in the sense if you have an interview they won't grant trv)

If it gets rejected that won't have any affect on the pr application I would suggest not to re apply for trv visa if it gets rejected once

During his stay in Canada he can do his medicals there in case of ppr you can submit to the Indian embassy in Canada

Yes it does give a positive impact on the application

For plane tickets you can go for itinerary tickets if you go through an agencies like thomas cook they will help you out

You don't have to do medicals if your husband is an Indian citizen

While applying trv need to give enough proof for family ties up in India for eg his job, property documents etc

Its not normal but its not unique either. We have the same thing. Still havent figured out why. However, we got a remedcial rquest recently so am not too much worried anymore about it.

if i understand correctly, you are being sponsored by your wife. In that case, you should be looking at your ecas and not your wife as it will not be the same. there is no way to accurately predict how long it will take for passport request as there are too many variable to consider. the best way would be to order notes and go through them to see what all on your application has been completed and if you have to appear for an interview or not.

Guys , I have applied Spouse PR to my wife on December so currently file is in Delhi. Im thinking to apply TRV, I have a doubt, what if my wife lands here in TRV and later if she gets a Passport request in Delhi, Can i able to send the Passport to Delhi or Can i able to get it stamped in Canada ???
