Don't worry, they say all kinds of crap. My wife did her re-medical in April & she didn't have her passport so when I spoke to them they said that you need a Govt issued photo ID like Drivets License, voters ID,aadhar card or pan card. Carry any two of them as a safe cushion. Also, carry a Xerox copy of passport as a reference. My wife carried her Voters ID plus a black and white copy of passport. They only ask for passport because when Doctors fill a form, the last question they have to answer is whether the applicant has valid passport as an Id proof & they write yes or no. If the applicant doesn't carry it, they mention that other ID offered as Identity proof. In my wife's they wrote that Voters ID as an ID used. In next 4 days, I saw an update on ecas status that Medical results have been received so don't worry & just carry a govt issued passport. If they insist then just explain your issue but still go ahead.Preetinderbedi said:Thanks for the info
I just called Sadhu Vaswani, they are asking for Orginal Passport to be carried along. My passport is already with NDVO, they are saying it cannot be done without Passport. Anyone has done Redmedical without original passport, please let me know of the same.
