The interviews that they call for, are these personal or telephonic? Reason I ask is, I am planning to go to CA on my visit visa and stay there + submit passport there for PPR.

Asked for my marriage certifcate again.. :(
although i had provided initially also

U mean to get IP roughly 1 to 3 months more .....this is crazy
and then my medicals expire by June end.....
By that time they will again ask for remedicals

crazy cycle

I don't trust our spreadsheet anymore I don't think we have enough active people to know where NDVO is... if you look at June while they did july some people got left behind and done late but the thing is we have barely any active people in August to know if some July applicants are piled on some slow persons desk while the rest of NDVO have been continuing with August.... who the &#@$ knows what the $!@# is going on

We are in the dark.

Hi

Can somebody clarify this for me. I am really confused. So the CIC website says that the Sponsorship approval time is not added in the time that NVDO takes (16 months) mentioned on the website.

When I check on e-cas under PR it says file received on May 22 2014, which is the same date CIC received my file and started working on SA.

So do I count 16 months from May 22, 2014 or July 22, 2014 when the file was transferred to NDVO or August 7 when the NDVO send AOR2??? ???

hello everyone . i Am going to file my husband's case in this month . i have a question that after i submit the file and when file is transfered to new delhi is it necessary for me to saty in canada while they are processing the file? If there is a time limit after which i have to be back in canada? as i am plaanig to live in india with my husband till he gets visa.
is it true that i have to stay in canada for atleast 6 months in a year ?

It is quite sad that a lot of people are indeed just visiting and passing by without sharing information. 2013 thread was full of people sharing their timelines. 2014's first half people shared quite diligently, even though fewer than 2013. Come August, barely anyone is sharing. Looks like the crowd wants to only know about others, but not share, which is not good for anyone. Guys, please share your timelines.

Are you a PR or a Citizen? If you are plan on staying in India, you have to prove to CIC that you intend to come back to Canada after your husband gets PR. My personal advice is to not go that route. We all know how difficult it is stay apart from spouses, but all are doing it, because there is a reason for it: it reduces complications in file. In order to prove that you will return to Canada with your husband, you have to show connections to Canada: job, property etc. You cannot apply here, and then leave Canada and think CIC will not know where you are. Again, my advice is to stay in Canada, and visit your husband often (vacation every 3 months may be).

Hey..it should be from May 22nd but god knows what is their idea of transfer and counting of months...im in same boat ;-( ideally for us it should been 13 months as that is what months prescribed were that time processing of the file.

Hi ,

I am trying to update the sheet but unable to do so.
I initially filed my application on Aug 15th but got an email to re-send the updated forms so I re-sent it.

Application received date on ECAS it Sep 16,2014. Sponsorship Approval was on Oct 30,2014 and File transferred to NDVO on Nov 15th.
No update since then.

Please update the sheet for my record. Thanks!

hey amop

yea it should have been 13 months. thats why i was little confused because 13 months will be in June, but if you take out SA days 13 months will be in August or September. Because that what the website says that the SA days are not counted in the 13 month or 16 month time period mentioned for NDVO office.
