Hi

Can somebody clarify this for me. I am really confused. So the CIC website says that the Sponsorship approval time is not added in the time that NVDO takes (16 months) mentioned on the website.

When I check on e-cas under PR it says file received on May 22 2014, which is the same date CIC received my file and started working on SA.

So do I count 16 months from May 22, 2014 or July 22, 2014 when the file was transferred to NDVO or August 7 when the NDVO send AOR2??? ???

The file is in queue/process since July 22 or August 7 and not May 22; the 16 month period starts from July/Aug date since its SA time period plus NDVO.

You are considered as a May 22nd applicant and theoretically your file will be processed after April applicants

It will always be in progress. That status means nothing other than that they have touched your file. DO you see anything mentioned at the bottom with comments? What is your eligibility status?

oh I see fiza. I just presumed when it said in progress in the notes it means a stage up then application received.

Should I wait for medical request or go for it without request as it is going to expire this month??please suggest if anybody did without thought request??? Plzzzzzzzzz

5- Y interpreter
6- first meet and mediator and presence
7- marriage date, register and traditional and reception and presence and why
8- spouse address and job and employer and roommate
9- plan after joining spouse
10- will u work
11- questions on dates lived together
12- why did you pick honeymoon destination
13- have you lived with in laws
14- dates when spouse was in India
15- verified email.

My husband sent a brief letter to ndvo on 12 april and april last week my lawyer receive an email of ndvo.
They said ur file is in under processing period and wait till 16th mnth
I hv send my name, sponser name , UCI, DOB, date of application received, date of SA, file transfer date, nd we jst explaind that i hv applied on 16 july and now 10th mnth is started my status is AR/MR. My medical is gonig to expire in may.

It is mentioned in CIC site that the cases will be counted from that day when CIC received your application so your cases will be counted from May 2014.

Medical already expired. No news from NDVO. So frustrating.

I am Aug applicant still AR/MR. ... NDVO is working on which files God knows.
When did your status changed into IP ?
For Passport request you need to wait 2 to 3 months more I feel so.
