I just got the email from NDVO today requesting the passport. Thank God. Hope get the visa soon.

wow this is incredible...we are into september.
This just made my day.. i hope everyone gets updates like this..

"Ok let me clear the confusion. I got a pr a year ago under fsw category as a single status. Now I got married and m living in toronto. So I have recently, on 16 sept 2014, submitted spouse sponsorship application to cic but heard nothing yet from them. My wife is living in home country. I guess it takes about a year to complete our spousal sponsorship application."

We got spouse sponsorship approval on 5th march 2015, and still waiting for AOR2 from NDVO.
NDVO so slow.... I heard it takes normally 1 month, but it's approaching 2 month on coming may 5th, OMG .. They take so much time to transfer file to NDVO office. anyone else waiting for AOR 2 ?

YES ,We applied on 26 Nov, 2014 (cic mississauga), got first AOR on 18 Feb 2015, and SA on 5th March 2015, then no email or reply from CIC mississauga or NDVO regarding AOR 2 . now news about file transfer.

Hi...do you have decision made in sponsor column ?

For pr ie for your spouse it must say application received / medicals received ie basic they update for almost every application .

and yes that's normal for ndvo to do this ..but do apply for notes if your file is not in process . as it takes a month for them to reply on that from CIC.

Hello Guys,

Please don't do this type of bloody things to send the e-mail to govt. They clear mentioned in the website that we have to wait till 16 months as per country specific. So please request you to don't create such probs those who didn't do anything.. Afterall we have decided to go to canada to be with ur spouse or better carrier then why we are questioning to the govt officers that they didn't do anything.

Please don't take it otherwise rest all are educated and knows better than me

We have to question the Government officers as this affects our life. They have no right to keep us separated from our spouse. This is our right to be with our loved one and immigration has no reason to keep us apart. This process used to take max of 3 months. We as canadian citizens, PR tax payers of this country have every right to question why this increase in processing time. Why some people file gets process in 8 months and some are waiting for years.

where are they spending tax payers money. If they are not working, then what the hell are they doing. I don't see any reason why we cannot question them and bring our voice forward. If we keep accepting their atrocities, they will continue with this process. We got a raise our voice to bring this to stop. In todays world where Twitter and facebook are even faster then any media house, there is no way they can risk doing what your saying i.e cancel your PR just because you are questioning them. This will actually be worse for them(NDVO) as it will justify our plea against them i.e they are doing this deliberately.

I hope more people join us and raise their voice. Just keeping quiet is not taking us anywhere.

He has already waited 2 months after the interview, I would like to know how long one is supposed to wait? If you look at 2013 forum , people have been waiting for 6 months after the interview as well. Can NDVO atleast answer what else they want to do after approving relationship is genuine?

Its taken sometime for you uh.
We have seen people getting AOR2 even after two months so you should not be worried since it doesnt mean the file is not there or not in queue/being processed
