guys I have a question to all of the forum members...... We are doing MP enquiry..... Appliying notes......... And those things are good up to a mark....... How does it sounds when we approch the immigration minister directly and show him that how we people are suffering with this kind of long wait.......... Please post everybodys suggestions........ I am just asking if we can do that...........that would be a huge step which would help everyone who is in real pain of missing our dearest one ........???

First question to you tintumon - Are you in Canada or in India?

Second question - How can we approach the immigration minister directly or even via his PA?

The option that I see that can happen is if we approach Go Public program by CBC news channel and explain our plight then something may happen fast. Read this for more info: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/adam-aboushady-baby-of-canadian-residents-stranded-in-egypt-by-immigration-rules-1.2938681

Hope the above helps.

Hey guys
i sponsored my wife last year 2014 dec...i send complete package to cic...i got a letter from cic that my sponsorship approved and file has been forwarded to Delhi visa office..can someone share his experience ...how much time visa office will take? ...what is the first step of visa office and when they will ask for PPR....?

plz Reply

It basically takes min 6 -8 months easily to get some update.. Now because of increased time to process, it might go even beyond 8 months...so stop having any short time expectations! i am not demotivating you, but its a fact... keeping high expectations will lead u to trouble!

Yes, Minister's are unapproachable unless there is strong backing... and people who r waiting in India cannot contribute much! Just we could use the online methods - fB, youtube to get their attraction and speed up the process.
We need a mass crowd to approach minister's...also funding..

Thank you all for your wonderful wishes. Surely, I will be keeping all of u in my prayers. Wish all to get visas soon without much wait and troubles.

I am in canada and i really dont know how to approch the minister or his PA but just asking everybodies opinion and option if we can make it happen ever. I know its hard but if somebody know the ways to then we could at least let him know that we are in that mental stress because of not having our family here. And many other countries like UK, Australia, newzeland they take only few months to bring your spouse from any other countries

The clock begins from the day your file was transferred to NDVO. So if your file was transferred on 7th October 2014, then add 15 months from there. If your file has not been transferred yet then the day it arrives at NDVO the wait of 15 months begins. Hopefully you may not have to wait for 15 months;cross your fingers and pray hard to get it at the earliest. Hope that helps.

A quick question:

When I sent my wife's application on 1st April 2014, the wait was around 13 months. Decision was made on 27th May 2014,file was subsequently transferred on June 4th 2014 to NDVO and then the wait time was 15 months, now I believe it is 16 months.

Under a circumstance like this, is my wait 13 months or 15 months or 16 months. Could any one shed some light on this?

Forum Members, Need your Help

I have got Decision Made on my application on 19th March 2015. I have not received PPR till now. I have a lawyer/ immigration consultant involved in my case. He is asking me to wait for 15 to 20 days at least before going for any inquiry.. Please suggest what should be done. I have seen most of the members here get PPR either before Decision Made or within a day or 2 of decision made. My medical is expiring on 20th April 2015. I am badly stuck. Please suggest what to do.

If you live in Delhi or nearby, take a screenshot of e-Cas, File number and your PP and go to Immigration gate at NDVO. Window is open until 11 AM, Monday to Thursday.
