Fiza or Avneet ...anyone who is still waiting for their status is still AR/ MR ..should we wait for ndvo to advise for remedical or can we do it on our own..as mine expires in 2 weeks , its confusing ...

Hi Veena,

it might work for you since your file is already in process and might be in final stages. I am stuck at AR/MR.....I don't see any reason why they would extend medical since they haven't touched the file from oct 1st after writing interview recommended. As per notes eligibility is still in process, they haven't passed the first step.

It would be best for me to go for remedical rather than wait for their letter and waste another 3 months on this.

Hi all,

Got update from one of my spouse frnd and she told me those who applied the application on jan and feb they will get the interview letter on first or 2nd week of april.

And those who applied the application on mar and apr they will get the interview letter on first or 2nd week of may.

Hi , the NDVO does not work in any logical order. They are still clearing backlog from 2013! I am a March 14 applicant and I already got an interview letter for an interview on April 27. I recommend getting the ATIP notes and it will show your "due date" for getting an interview scheduled. In our notes, our due date was march 31 for getting an interview scheduled and we got the letter on March 14, exactly one year since we applied!

Now our problem is the remedical... it passed the 15 month mark so we need full remedical. I am not waiting for the stupid remedical letter, we will go an do full medical on our own and send it to them before the interview. Hopefully we will get visa faster that way! Good luck !

I am also doing the same. Consulted with lawyer and he mentioned you can send the remedical without request. Take your remedical receipt with you when going for interview so that these morons have no excuse to delay the visa furtther.

That's great to hear the advice of your lawyer! I think we need to be proactive and push this through. It is worth the try. I hope they do not ask for police clearance renewal as well... that takes forever to get in Himachal Pradesh! Good luck to you too!

In notes, the due date for interview is 9th june 2015 which is exactly 12 months after my file was transferred to New Delhi

I don't see any hope now to see my husband in Canad during summer . Still long wait is left.

I'm so sorry to hear that. You must be getting yours soon too ! It is infuriating to see how NDVO works this way, I don't understand why they can't work in order.. so many 2013 people still waiting... so sad. Best of luck to you !

btw, i did MP enquiry, got a weird answer - they said there is a lot of backlog at NDVO these days and u shud expect the average time mentioned on cic website (16 months) to get ur visa. So does that mean they are doing like gcms notes ppl do, wait for expected time to be over and then do work???

Hi ...i know its frustrating and loosing hope , patience is on the last threshold ...but do we have choices no...we are actually at mercy of ndvo and somewhere may be god desired this I guess...else we would not have been stuck and lucky to have our files processed soon. If they are clearing backlog of 2013 and jan14- may 14 are going for interview late april or may then that ways I am also gonna be stuck till june perhaps july .. another canada summer gone ...but another year of togetherness with our spouse is lost !!!

They may be right in delaying process due xyz reasons , but genuine relationships suffer.

We have to hold on somehow...until unless miracle happens ...waiting to see omg soon ..!!!

Application date - Jan14
File transferred to ndvo - 30 Mar14
additional docs requested in Aug14 - sent in sept14
since then no update

so i think my 15 months already over for medical, so what u suggest i shud get full medical by myself?

It seems your interview has been cancelled as many March applicants are getting their interview dates. It would be more clear once you get your notes.

I hope it gets cancelled and you get an update pretty soon.
