I might've misunderstood then. Definitely processed then. sorry for the misunderstanding.. my ECAS only shows Application received. But i was told that i shouldn't expect ECAS status to change regardless.

Ah.... Yes unless it says in progress in ECAS then its not IP. You have just got an AOR2 which confirms the NDVO receiving the application

Fiza: Is yours second marriage? Just curious because mine is and my wife's medicals have expired. There is absolutely no communication from NDVO. All it says is "Application Received". Do you think hiring a lawyer for this (at this stage) will help?

I have already applied for ATIP/CGMS case notes (almost 3 weeks ago) and even that's becoming a waiting game.

Yes, it is my second marriage. Same here no communication from NDVO , not even any additional documents were requested. It has been silence every since file was transferred to New delhi in June. I haven't hired any lawyer, only went for consultation for half hour. I took my notes and he provided the information that if interview is scheduled it will be in June.

Notes take almost 27-30 days before you receive it.

Hello All,

Update from my end: My wife had an interview on 2nd March 2015. It was a 20 min interview. Please note that there are no gadgets allowed inside NDVO (not even mp3 players, USB thumb drives etc).

The visa officer was a canadian (not of indian origin). All the questions in our case were centered around relationship development. I cant disclose the questions as they are too specific to my case. All i can say is that she wasnt aware of Bharat Matrimony, nor was she aware of Hindu calendars. At the end she said that she is fully satisifed with our relationship and it was too unfortuante that our medicals had expired just a day back. She said that she we will get a ppr as soon as our medical extension is uploaded. I am not too sure if she meant re-medical or medical extension. She also returned all the proof of relationship documents that had been submited with the application.

Congrats to your wife for clearing the interview. Hope she gets her visa soon.

If I am not wrong, you applied in March. Can you please tell when you received your Interview letter?

yup same here as everyone just shows 2 same addresses now on my ecas home and mailing address.

oh this wait is so crucial!!!!

It should say update this home address or update this mailing address and you can change it. They will take about 3 business days to update it they might not update it right away on ECAS but they will update it. You Can also call CIC and let them know about your address change.
Yeah Did change.. It will be updated soon

Hi buddies,

On my ecas they update incomplete n wrong address. So now what should I do email to on Delhi immigration or send letter to delhi high commission. So which method is better ......

Hi,

1) The payment receipt that you attach with your application contains a receipt number. They can see as to which fees you have paid through this receipt number. Many people pay the wrong fees, and CIC would check through this number and mail them to pay the required fees.

2) If you send your application to a PO box address you would not get a signed receipt of the delivery of your application from the courier service. While sending your application to the physical address would get you a signed receipt of delivery from the courier service. So its better to send it to the physical address so that you get assured that your application has reached at the right place.

Hope this helps.
All the best. :)

Hi Sunnycool.
Thanks you so much for your help & your advice.
I really appreciate it.

You are awesome!! bud

Thanks a ton

Cheers & best of luck
