Strange thing happened
They posted an immigration consultant companys address for our mailing address that we do not deal with and have never heard of. These guys are even in a different province...

Hey Guys really need a help As they upgraded my address . They put my parents address not my in laws as I am living with my in laws now..so what can I do?? Is it a serious problem for me?? Can I change that ??

It should say update this home address or update this mailing address and you can change it. They will take about 3 business days to update it they might not update it right away on ECAS but they will update it. You Can also call CIC and let them know about your address change.

other than Address being updated, has status changed for anyone? looks like it was system update and nothing else.

Even I noticed there were 2 tabs for address last Friday or Saturday. But my husband said they were always there and I thought I am going crazy

My husband's medical is expiring next week, still we haven't received any remedical request. Can't understand what is going on.

Lawyer said if you are called for interview, it will be somewhere in June...... that is a long wait to go. god please help us here.

I am assuming thats what they meant. I got a 3rd letter following 1- application received in mississauga 2- sponsorship approved and file will be transferred to new delhi.. and 3rd - we have received your application for permanant residence in Canada and have created a file with the file number above and requested proof of police clearance and permanant residence fee; ;which i already had included when i submitted the application in October.

Fiza: Is yours second marriage? Just curious because mine is and my wife's medicals have expired. There is absolutely no communication from NDVO. All it says is "Application Received". Do you think hiring a lawyer for this (at this stage) will help?

I have already applied for ATIP/CGMS case notes (almost 3 weeks ago) and even that's becoming a waiting game.

I highly doubt he/she knows that "In Process" is a status on ECAS. I think he/she just meant that the application is being processed.

I might've misunderstood then. Definitely processed then. sorry for the misunderstanding.. my ECAS only shows Application received. But i was told that i shouldn't expect ECAS status to change regardless.
