Hi,

I am new to this forum, just found out about it through a random Google search. This is such a great forum, I've just started following some discussions and am grateful for all the members here who share their stories and give hope to everyone out there who is trying to get united with their spouses.

I am an August 2014 applicant, still stuck at AR/MR on ECAS
Here's my timeline:
App. filed: August 4, 2014
AOR: August 28, 2014
SA/File transfer: October 3, 2014

there's one note under privacy act. you can apply that from canada and you will know about your file.

oh anuaru how long did they gave your husband to send in the passport? do they give u a date to submit it before a certain date?

He submitted yesterday, so they told him 2 weeks. but he will get before that i guess. I let you know how long it will take once he got his passport back. thanks.

Hi guys,

I just got my GCMS Notes ;D

In the notes its says Security and Criminality checks are "Not Started", but Medicals and Eligibility are "Passed". I also have a note that says "RFV CHECK SEND FROM CRIM" on Jan 15/2015. So looks like they requested criminality checks to be started on Jan 15th. Anyone has any idea how long criminal checks generally take?

There is also some info about "Application Due Date" which is in April 2015. However, there are "Due Dates" in a lot of places that don't quite make sense. So, I don't know if this means I should get visa before April 2015, or if it means application will be reviewed in April 2015.

criminality usually take two weeks. because they confirmed from your local police station. good luck.

But its already been one month since they started this, and I have nothing yet. Also, I wonder why they didn't do this till now....

Anyone who got GCMS notes, does your file say anything about PCC? Does it say it was received etc.? My notes don't say anything about PCC....

Thanks Guys for your warms wishes. MY hubby submit his passport to VFS Jalandhar. they asked you 1100rs, two recent photographs,printout of your passport request and of course your passport.
