Looks like they didn't start your file yet. Its really difficult to say whose file NDVO will work on wehn. They don't have any protocol I think. Simply pick up whichever file is thin and shiny and start working on it.

I am going crazy after seeing this nonsense. 7 and half months and they havent even started. What the heck..

we got a re-medical request on 24th January and did the medical on 30th January.
our file also went into IP on same day 24th Jan.

did anyone else get a re-medical request on or around that date?
if so, did your online status change to DM yet?

We got a remedical request on Nov 1st. Our file status changed to IP on Nov 1st, and stayed there since then (over 3 months now). Yours will be a long wait too may be. Sorry.

In my case I did a small trick that I had heard works. But I was not sure if did work indeed. So I gave it a try and I guess it worked. Basically arround the time when your peers are geting updates you need to constantly remind NDVO that you exist. So after July 1st week applicants got updates I sent NDVO a letter informing them about the computer course my wife completed (change in education status). I had also applied for a new police clerance certificate. So in two weeks I would have sent that out in case I had not seen any development. I know none of these letters are really required but they sometimes help you. Basically when you send a letter someone at NDVO pulls your file and gives it a quick review. If something is stuck that gets kicked in and in case everything is complete you get PPR. It is a hypothesis but it worked for me. Cheers and wish everyone all the very best. Amansanghera, Anuaru and all folks stuck can try this little trick. Nothing to loose

Ok cool, and I would say your luck is too high But you know one of my friend also did, but it wont work for him it took 8 months to complete the process and in proper panel. I am wondering now my case is in process. It means they are working on it. Might be while time I submitted all additional documents or gentle reminder I got DM and PPR. I dont know. I will wait until next week then I will definately use this.

One question: I am in Canada, Should I submit my documents or only I can submit hubby's documents?
