Folks my wife is going to VFS tomorrow first thing to submit the passport. When can we get the passport back? Can we buy tickets now or do we wait for a few days more........

Any thing we should keep in my mind while submitting the passport......

Folks we just received an email for passport request. We are a July 7 applicant. Yaayyyyyyyy!!!! Its 12:45 a.m. and I am jumping with joy

Now what is surprising is that my online status still shows AR/MR. No IP and no DM. Strange are the ways of NDVO.

Guys! Is there any way to distract yourself from this waiting game.
I won't understand how NDVO is working,they start working on August applicants without completing June and July applicants. Ki dushmani aa sade naal. Do some pity on us...

Games.. books anything which u like to do... i m sailing in same boat too.. but pursuing our hobby really helps..

congrats projectGcanada. I am bit surprised you didn't get IP or dm STATUS ON ECAS, straight fwd you received passport request. Seriously don't know how NDVO is working. I think as per your statement we can say they wont update online status accordingly. There should be delay as well.

And VFS returned your passport with stamped visa with in 6 business day. Congrats again and wish you happy married life.

I'm sorry to hear that If you wish you can paste the info and just remove all your personal details and such. Maybe someone in the forum can help.
