NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

They changed the processing time to 15 months for New Delhi. It was previously 12 - 13 months.. It doesn't affect us right? It's already been around 13 months since I sent my application.

Is your application straight forward? Not sure why its taking so long for you...

My Online status changed to decision made and NDVO request a passport and two recent pictures, does that mean they will issue visa or they refuse my application?

Mine application says: DM, Medical Receiced, Application Received.
Since July 23 2014 I haven't heard.
My Spouse is in Afghanistan!!!

How long more?

If you are a July 23 applicant you have to wait as few applicants beginning of July are just getting their file in process. I am a July 25 applicant. So we have to wait and In Shaa Allah our status will change and we will be getting our visa soon. Good luck

Are they gonna ask for interview?

Filed application on june 6th. In Process since january 10th, received an email on 22 jan for PPR, decision made on jan24.

Hard to stay. All depends on Visa Officer handling the case. Stay positive. It will happen soon. Good luck!

It is straightforward.. well, we did remedicals in december. I'm guessing its taking long because my husband used to work in Saudi Arabia and Singapore so maybe they're doing background checks?

Hey I had received visa after 3 days of PPR
NDVO send me PP back in 3 days to Chandigarh
I sent passport on 21st and got it back on 23rd thats so fast...
I had also IP for some hours and got PPR same day

I did put all original documents except marriage, birth certificate and Academic certificates

They call applicants for interview in order to verify documents they have written this on website

I sent them even gold bills originals of lac rupees...all other marriage shopping bills...hotel bills...amazon bills...gifts bills
This could be the reason they called me on phone to take interview
Since they had all original stuff...nothing to verify


I was so busy in buying stuff ...long list of wife...lol
I am flying on 29th Jan
