Good Morning everyone....

I m frustrated with NDVO to the extent possible...

I wish they were given same treatment and wait when they arrived from Canada. India would have made them suffer to keep their spouse's visa pending.

How could it take so longer....I m losing hope and really cursing them for this delay and lethargic attitude.

There is no red flag and a straightforward application. Have been paying heavy taxes from last 5 years just to bear their harassment.

I think i should pack my bags and go back...

how could they generalise all the application and delay it so much if frauds happened in past....why can't they give conditional PR and keep investigating the case and if they find something fishy then just throw the person out.....

Hang in there algrn ! it is so frustrating... each of us are going thru challenging time in the PR process.

I don't get the logic why they dont give TRV for spouses to even visit. And how they can give work permit for spouses of temporary foreign workers and students but not to spouses of canadian citizens and pr holders ? won't these people misuse and stay in Canada illegally?
do they trust them more to leave the country when their visa or work permit expires ? PR applicants are even denied health care due to this.

if i plan to enter the country and stay here illegally, i would do it as a visitor, i will not go through the head ache of marrying a PR or citizen and try to gain entry.

As a PR applicant - inland or outland, an open work permit should be given plus the health care. the same as for spouses of foreign workers and students. if PR is denied, then they can take the necessary action if the applicant is violating any rule. in this way honest applicants will not be affected. even the fraudulent ones will be caught eventually. the current system is not fool proof either. i am sure there r fraudsters making their way into Canada even now.

this will result in a happier Canada, better economic growth. less frustrated minds. less crimes.
more workers means more tax money. with that they can continue with background checks and invest their resources in removing people for any violation.

Since expected PPR arrival is gonna be while, Would you guys encourage me to apply for a visiting visa???
I am just wondering "Is applying for a visit visa while PR application is being processed by NDVO acceptable???"

If You are working in good company with handsome salary and you have reason to visit Canada other than just tourist like any invitation letter then you can get it...otherwise chances are very low..You can try your luck...but dont worry buddy time will pass stay patience and busy

I send them my son Passport and also to correct my address it has very tiny little one letter mistake
they have updated my Address on Ecas but never replied me
if they don't reply us it does not mean they don't read our letters

Although, Requests like "Please Proceed my case faster"..."Please Expedite my case"...or something like this they don't really consider..for them ever file is important and they don't care what our situation is.....Indeed we have to go through whatever the process is ....I know timelines varies but that is the part of process .

The sooner you will accept that we can only do wait the better you will feel

Congrats dear.... i want to know when did they actually recieved your file 26 june or 27 june? Your timeline says 27 june and spreadsheet says 26 june. What does it say on ur ecas? Congrats once again

Passport expired Jan 18, 2015 and got extended but now I want to mail photocopies to NDVO so they know that the expiry date has been extended/updated

Extension u mean renewing ur passport? If its 'extending' then how did u do it? I too need suggestions from u and others as my passport too is expiring in April 2015.

Please suggest if i have to 'renew' or 'extend'
