This is absolutely ridiculous the way NDVO works. In 2002 when my PR was granted I was given a visa just 5 weeks before my medical expiry and had to scramble through to get to before the expiry. It appears that they are doing the same thing i.e. calling the applicants and then doing a PPR. Ridiculous.

While I wish others well and it's good to see them getting visas quickly, I am appalled to see that others who have applied after me are getting their visas but not my wife's... Not sure why. God have mercy on my wife's application.

Anyways here is our timeline:

Visa Office......: NDVO
Med's Done....: Feb 2014
App. Filed.......: April-2014
File Transfer...: May 27, 2014
Add documents requested...:Sep 15, 2014
Add documents sent...:Sep 25, 2014

from then on it's just a waiting game.

Would be interested to know other's thoughts on this.

Here we go.....one more April applicant. Join the club, I am also waiting since April.

Now I am damn sure one visa officer is handling all the April files and he is taking personal grudge against us. Koi toh use bataye ke bhai ab bahut ho gaya...... :P :P :P
