Somebody told me dat v can go to Canada high commission in Delhi... Is it true? Does anybody have idea?

No you cannot go to Canadian High Commission unless you have been invited by them. You cannot even drop your application or passport.. everything is routed through mail.

Got latest MP inquiry saying they received the forms I had sent couple of months ago, and file is waiting for interview schedule.

I am supposed to get GCMS notes in few day hope it specifies the reason for interview.

Meanwhile hoping we get interview while I visit India.

Ohhh best of luck with your interview thing.. actually if marriage is genuine no one can separate you guys not even NDVO so don't worry about it. Also check the spreadsheet tab for interview questions to get prepared. Let everyone know when you get interview letter as some people are waiting here for a long time specially Avneet.

Hey can someone add my name to the list? My application was received at the CIC missisauga offices on December 22, 2014.

Thanks!!

I wonder why they take so long just to schedule interview. If they have decided that an interview is required why not just do it within a month and reduce this wait.
Feel your pain Avneet...:(

Hello All,

I applied for my a spouse sponsership visa for my wife in feb 2014 although every thing was submitted along with the docs submitted which included her medicals as well. although there was some small issues with the medicals where in we did do the prescribed medical treatment and a final medical report was submitted by us by october although in the mean time we were asked to submit landing fees which was also done on time.... the cic website still shows in process... wonder why.
the file was received by mid of feb 2014
re medicals were submitted by oct 2014

landing fees done by aug 2014... wonder why is it taking so much time..

Many have including me it's also called GCMS, u can apply from online but their is a form to be signed by sponsored spouse and has to be applied by a Canadian citizen or a Permanent resident.

It helps in giving an idea on the red flags on file and usually between 20 to 30 pages of info, takes 30 calendar days to process, cost is $5.

I applied and m currently waiting to receive the response.

You can probably get better info if you type GCMS in the search on forum.

Hiya,

I am quite new on this forum and wondering if one can throw light on my wife's sponsorship case. My case is a little unique and that is:

a) I am a Canadian citizen and moved back to India in 2013 after living in Canada for over 11 years.

b) Found a job in my field in India and also worked in India for over 15 months.

c) Got married in October of 2013

d) Made a house and stayed in India till September 2014.

e) Applied for my wife's visa and sent the complete package on 1st April 2014 (while living in India itself; since I am a Canadian citizen, I am entitled to sponsor my spouse from any part of the world. Only condition is that I should be back in Canada before her visa can be approved).

f) CPC alloted a file number and on 27th May 2014 received an email stating that my sponsorship has been approved and the file was transferred to Delhi office.

g) In September 2014, NDVO emailed my wife for some documents including my time line to return to Canada. Since I was in India I submitted my return ticket to Canada along with a job offer that I had received.

h)Returned to Canada on 1st October 2014.

However there has been no movement on my wife's application at all. It just shows "Application Received".

Could any one tell me what needs to be done next in order to get any updates? CAIPS requisition is it?

Please let me know.

BB

Please read the post above.

It gives a detailed description of the so far process on file.
