Hello,

sorry for not mentioning the details.. I'm sponsor and lives in canada, my wife is in India and we are just about to put file by end of this month. As her family and my brother n sister in law stays in same city, she sometimes stay at her home and sometimes at my brother's place. and as so far i haven't sent any money, i was thinking if i should take support letter/affidavit from both (her father and my brother) that they will support for living and place until she comes to canada. Also as i heard/read somewhere that its good to put affidavit/letter from friends who has witnessed our relationship/marriage so just need information about it. I hope its clear now, please let me know if any additional details required. Thank you.
Either you are confused or either me
your wife is living in India and she she is staying sometime her father place sometime your bother place?
First of all it does not matter whether you send her any money or not and also it does not matter whether you are earning money or not...
There is no any minimum income requirement for you to sponsor.

In file your wife can add only one residential address
Her address could any one address .....it does not really matter and who is supporting her this also does not matter at all...

All you have to show is this marriage a "Genuine Marriage"

You better don't include these dual affidavits..Keep it simple and straight gather a proof of you and your wife relationship...if she giving some address obviously she is living there and get supported ... ?

Hi,

My wife (Sponsor-Spouse visa) is a Canadian Permanent resident and an Indian Citizen, currently working and living in Canada. We got married one year ago and I am an Indian citizen living in India.

My wife submitted spouse sponsorship application package at Case Processing Centre, Mississauga, Canada. We are expecting acknowledgement (AOR and SA) from CPC, Mississauga soon. As per the information I got, the application package will be forwarded to the Canadian High Commission, New Delhi, India, where it will be processed. (current processing time 15 months)

My questions are:

Should my wife (Canada permanent resident- sponsor) live in Canada, until my visa is approved by Canada High Commission, New Delhi, India?

After obtaining AOR and SA from Case Processing Centre, Mississauga, Can she leave Canada and live with me in India for one year / until my visa is approved?

What is the maximum period a PR sponsor can live outside Canada without making any delay in spouse sponsorship? (After submitting a spouse visa application at Case Processing Centre, Mississauga, Canada and obtaining sponsorship approval)

Can we both go and live in Canada after my spouse visa is approved?

Will there be any delay in processing spouse visa if the sponsor (Canada permanent resident) is not living in Canada? (We can inform CIC about sponsor's address change)

Thanks & Regards,

First of all buddy when your wife first sponsorship approval stage is in under process there is no way your wife can leave Canada

Second thing processing time will be only 7-8 month from date your wife applied in Canada.Yes that is trend in New Delhi some files are processed in 3 month

Third thing your wife can come to India for 3-4 week as vacation as Canadian vacations are for 3-4 weeks...Its not like only your wife cannot live in India....your wife must not leave Canada that's the rule...yeah can go out for 3-4 week in 6 months

When your PR file will be in process.your ties with Canada country will be very high and ties to India will be very low.So don't even think you will get tourist visa if you don't have one

We all have to get through this pain of living apart for 6-7 month.....15 months processing time is wrong displayed in website...maximum you can say 10-12 months...and minimum is 3-4 months and average is 5-6 months

Your file went in ADR queue which is the obevious reason of delay...If you would have send your medical update with cover letter before they ask you...you could in canada right now or your wife, whoever is the applicant...!!!!
Order GCMS wait 28 days more to get GCMS...and see if anything wrong going on or it is just a matter of turn
Hi,

I am one of the unlucky sponsor who still waiting for PPR request for my wife, though we have applied on March 2014,(status AR/MR)
My question is (1) my wife medical will expire on Jan 20,so she can do remedical by her self without request of CHC letter in January 2015,if yes which doc. she has to bring with her and do we need to send copy of medical to NEW Delhi.
(2) Since we are apart from each other for almost more then year, I am planning to visit India for 1 month in Jan 2015,this could affect her processing.

Please reply,
Thanks

Hi,
I am new to this forum. I am the primary applicant being sponsored by my husband who will be filing the application in Jan-Feb 2015. I am elated to know that actual processing times are not as long as 15 months. I hope that this information is true. What are the potential reasons for delay? We are painstakingly preparing the application package and hoping that our case is straightforward.

Would love to receive any advice or links to discussions that will help!

-praying for a speedy approval
