same as mine ,filled application on april 21,2014 , SA september29.

I made several calls to CIC and also did MP inquiry (email as well as in person) for the SA approval but they kept telling that nothing is missing and you just have to be patient for your turn. 4.5 months for SA approval really worried me but good to have "In process" status today. I hope my wife gets PPR and DM in few weeks....

IP since OCT 30. No travel history. There has to be much more that they look into besides travel history. I am guessing they do background checks on your past addresses as well within the country. If there are addresses that are not verifiable, then that probably delays the application further. I think this is what's happening to my case.

Deal all,

I received an email from NDVO yesterday:

In order to expedite the processing of your application, we are requesting that you provide the following

as soon as possible:

 Proof of payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in

 Submission of police clearance certificates for you and all dependent family members who are

Mississauga or by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid. Note: dependent children are

not required to pay the Right of Permanent Resident Fee.

18 years or older, for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not

already submitted. Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16

years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do

not need to provide a police certificate for that country.

I have already sent the PCC and have filed the required fees, prior to sending the application.

What Should I do?

Kindly advise

Very confused :(

It is a generic mail which they send to all the applicants who's file reach New Delhi. Its for only those, who have not submitted these things upfront. So, nothing to worry. :)
