I am about to send in my sponsorship application to be approved to sponser my wife from new Delhi. We have a complete application as well as her completed medical exam. Assuming all is in order, how many months from this time the office receives her application can she come to Canada? I've tried searching this thread, but there are too many pages ((((

I read on the processing times site it will take up to 14-16 months, but I also discovered this form:

So now I am confused! Is it seriously not going to take 16 months? Can someone help with a fair approximate date?

hey dear ...if ur case straight forwrd then it will be completed in 6 to 8/9 months ...and it's also depend on ur case u can check the procedure ip to dm in Spreedsheet how its working and don't worry good luck

Well officially it is 44 days at CIC-M + 15 months at NDVO, but as per the trend of last 8-10 months it takes approximate of 8 months to clear your application, if it is complete and their is no interview or re-medical or foreign travel.

Make sure to send a complete package, this is the time to thoroughly check your application. If it is incomplete you would get ADR or an interview, which would take up a lot of time.

Also, IMM0008 has been changed this month, make sure you send the latest form.

Check this link. You have to fill in this form and get a consent from the applicant and attach it along for case specific inquiry.

Hey guys my wife and i had interview today he told us we ve passed the interview but he returned the passport as my wifes medical was expired from 3 months and now when i call the doctor who did medical last time hes asking for ime number and i dont know what that is pls help thankd
