Congratulations to those who got IP I was wondering...is it possible to have an interview even after IP? What stage is our file when the status is IP? I ask because my spouse's meds were requested on OCT 30 and status changed to IP on the same day. Initial meds were done in June 2013 and app was filed on Jan 2014. I'm really confused.

Should I order notes to see if I am recommended for an interview or not? If I am, I will try to send more proof of communication, etc. Am I over thinking here? The wait is getting to me now

dont know but it was in process since last Wednesday...i checked my ecas status last night ..but it WAS NOT SHOWING ANYTHING...IT WAS NOT WORKING...THEN TODAY AGAIN I CHECKED IT ON SUNDAY MORNING IT IS SHOWING IN PROCESS........I KNOW ITS UNBELIEVABLE BUT ITS TRUE...it means they work on Saturday also......may be for few hours...thank to god..

Just my idea of how status gets changed over the weekend...even though we know it's unlikely that NDVO is working during the weekend.

Ideally they should be working on the files during weekdays and updating statuses in their system. these status changes will not reflect to us immediately. some sort of batch jobs/processes should be scheduled to run every night / every few hours / at a particular time during weekend.
Once this job finishes updating database tables, the end users i.e we can see the updates thru ecas and/ or receive automatic emails.
At times the system may be down during these batch runs, so when we try to check status, nothing seems to work.

Pheww, that was some tech talk there so when we see a status change , it may not necessarily mean that someone just hit enter on our file. they probably did it few hours or few days ago.

Some time I don't understand why NDVO call us client as you know, when we check our application status they say it client application. But i don't think they gave us customer satisfaction lol
why these guys take so long time, why they don't hire more staff as they charge fair amount of processing fee from us
Is customer satisfaction terms doesn't work for NDVO ????????hhahahhah

Guys I'm jan applicant still ar mr . I got reply to my email from NDVO that interview requirement has been waived and we will get in touch once background checks are done .

Does anyone know how long it takes to complete background checks ... My medical is expiring 11 dec

Congratulations Pannuzz...I am happy for you that your interview is waived....can you please share that what did you write in comment section of case secific enquiry? I am left March applicant and MP enquiry was not helpful! I want to go for case specific enquiry but not sure what to write! You got answer from them so please guide.

Why were you selected for interview?? Any red flags to your case?
Have you applied for GCMS NOTES??
