Hi Guys,

I have a question, I am in Canada. I applied for my hubby. Its been 4 months our status is Application received.
Next month I am changing my job. Do I need to submit new job letter and new income, company details.
I am wondering when they transfer file to Delhi. They verified us in Mississauga office.
Please comment, Do I need to submit or not. If yes, where do I need to mail it.

If you got the sponsorship approval letter
Then your file is transferred to New Delhi already
Your husband must have received Acknowledgement in his email by now ( If you choose Email as communication medium)....make sure your husband check his email regularly and also spam folder

Anyway...if your physical address is also changed I mean where you live then you have to call immigration office in mississauga and inform them about your address change

And if this is only job change then you don't need to bother at all dear...indeed for spouse sponsorship you did not even have to show income ....there is no income requirement for spouse sponsorship...unless you don't have your own kids back there in India along with your husband
If your husband is the only person whom you sponsored ....then nothing to worry about these jobs and financial income or any monetary requirement....no need to tell them at all

Hello everyone,

I recently applied for my spouse sponsorship i.e 12th November 2014 and received on 13th November 2014. As per the processing time mentioned on CIC website i would expect my sponsor approval till January 2015, but the question i have is that do they slow down or stop the process from 15th December 2014- 15th January 2015 as government holidays...HuhHuh
Do i expect my approval to be delayed..??

my file was received on JULY 23,2014. According to the website, it states Medical and Police Clearance Certificate received. Status: Application Received.
Que: what is the next step? how long will it take? and which applications are processed at the moment?
