I sent about 40 pics and it was fine. Just write behind the pic what it is about. e.g. my family, spouse famly, ring exchange etc. also included travel and hotel tickets/bills etc

Its just a wait and watch scene now till the status changes to "In process", and then you can expect a passport request email (status may change to "Decision Made" at that time). It seems to be taking atleast 3 months after file transfer but luck plays a good part here.

I am going through same. ....other than wait, we cant really do anything...looks like someone is lazy at NDVO, holding all leftover files from first three months of this year

This is seriously very Unpredictable way of working..

I am April applicant and got visa in 6 months but March people are still waiting..

I think you should do case specific enquiry..

Ya the wait is tough. I used to check status only once a week to avoid this stress. Not much you can do in the process now , so better to enjoy Diwali and the short time you get to be in India. once you are here you will miss it

what is your ecase showing....
when you check your ecase there is first line... application receieved by CIC on ______.... that would be your application date

ecas show recevied on april 22, but file transfer sept29.
