file for spousal PR first and then apply visitor visa......

tell complete and truthful information....say that you have applied for PR in your visitor visa application also...

If possible furnish a return ticket - atleast a travel itenary suggesting you will return....after some time....

Hey SunR,

It should not take more than a week pr max 10 days. I am waiting for the same. Submitted passport on 6 Oct.

There is no defined timeline after PP submission...
there are people who have got it back within 3 to 4 days but people like me who submitted passport on September 23 still waiting for them to return it back to me.

today my lawyer received passport request. so its not clear that ppr to both(lawyer and applicant) for those who have hired lawyer

i have a question for those who have submitted passport.
1) in form should we have to fill all the information apart form applicant.like passport no./height/eye colour.
as my spouse and kid having canadian passport it is necessary to fill their information.
2) i am planning to dispatch passport through vfs.is it o.k

Yes dear.. you have to fill out ur information n ur spouse and kid information...
U can send ur passport through VFS..

You Can send the passport to NDVO with the letter which your lawyer received for passport request. i did the same
