IP means in In Process. In blatant terms it means that NDVO has opened your file and have started looking at it. After file transfer to Delhi, so far for 2014 applicants it has taken approx. 5 months for IP.

I am april 15 applicant still on AR. It will be 6months next week from AR, but my status isn't IP yet.

May be will get IP soon.
