I've just referenced somebody's post, but the major statuses are outlined in red, so essentially if the application status changes to "In Process", you should have passed the eligibility check. It just outlines major events that happen before major status updates, in no particular order ("medicals received" is also updated before an application status changes to "In Process" these days as opposed to what I've quoted where it says it happens after application goes to "In Process" status)

Wife got the passport back today with the visa. PPR came the same day as DM which was sep 23rd.
She is flying out next week.

Kan_sri can you pls do the honours of updating the spreadsheet?

Guys there r many ppl receiving ppr the same day or jus next day of DM... I got DM on 30th sept ... Didn't receive ppr yet... Is there anyone got DM around d same time n got ppr too ?

Has anyone's Canadian citizen ever made a call to CIC regarding case processing times or for any other enquiry lately?

I did when I was waiting for my SA but what she said was.. yeah it is in review you will get acknowledgement letter shortly and she didn't gave any info about the application..

Please let us know the timeline for your wife's processing ? Did you apply through an immigration lawyer ?

We applied ourselves. I have had enough experience with how CIC works from my own PR process under the skilled worker class which took 3 years to complete even though I was living and working in canada in a skilled occupation during the entire process.If that went through,this too shall pass.

I checked online on Oct 5 and the update said the they have started to process the application on Oct 1, 2014. what does your status say?

You are not alone, look at a few applicants in the excel sheet.

For instance angel1287, gauravchabra, GR012614 to name a few have waited almost a month before getting PPR, you will get it within a couple of weeks, if I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath on this one.
